Directions

Fill the dropper to the 1 mL line to provide the full daily dosage.  use full dosage, regardless of age or weight, unless your child's doctor recommends a different dosage.  Dispense with a single squeeze of the dropper bulb.  It is normal for a small amount to remain in the tip. Dosing Tips:  Drops may be given by dispensing directly into the mouth.  Drops may also be mixed with formula, fruit juice, cereal or other foods to increase your child's acceptance. This product comes with a child-resistant cap.  Refrigeration not required.  After opening, store away from direct light.

Agreed that they smell ... by Jennifer in Madison, WI on 12/24/07 Agreed that they smell and taste terrible right from the dropper, but we put them in a bottle of pumped breast milk and our three-month-old takes them no problem. We can only smell them when dispensing them--I haven't noticed any lingering odor. We've had no other problems with them. They are kind of pricey, though, so we've been trying to find a generic brand.

This product was not only recommended, but required as part of their discharge from the hospital. I have been using it for nearly 2 months, and don't see a difference in how much formula they take with or without it! And, they're growing!!! HORRIBLE! That's all I ... by Dina D in Wheeling, IL on 11/2/06 HORRIBLE! That's all I can say about these vitamins. Sure, they are good for the baby and I don't deny that. But here are a few things I simply can't stand about them. 1) The smell is horrid. Not only do the vitamins smell, but your baby will smell the entire day after taking them. 2) They STAIN everything. The iron stains do not wash out. Enfamil suggests soaking the stain in cold water immediately after the stain was formed, but how many times are you actually right next to the washer when the baby spits up? 3) Regardless of how many times you wash the clothes exposed to these vitamins, the smell will not come out. After 3rd wash, I realized that the smell is there to stay. So when should you use these vitamins? When you're rich enough to buy a new outfit for every time your baby spits up, because the spit-up after the vitamins stains everything...
