This is the first product that has ever worked to stop my dandruff problems. At first I was really skeptic because every brand claims to work. I've tried lots of shampoos and conditioners and special dandruff brands without success. I heard about Nizoral A-D and it worked instantly. I lather it on and repeat and thats it. It doesn't burn and smells really good. It's a little pricey for a shampoo, but it's definitely worth the cost. I LOVE IT !!!!

At the beginning of this year (2008) I began noticing horrible flaking and itching, mostly at the front of my scalp, above my forehead. I tried so many different things from more expensive named shampoos to apple cider vinegar and olive oil. It took about a week to notice a difference, and after two weeks, the fakes are almost cmpletely gone. I will definitely be getting more of this!

After using Pantene Ice Shine shampoo for about a month, my hair was in BAD shape-- extremely greasy roots, frizzy ends, and a flaky, flaky scalp. I tried all kinds of shampoos, treatments products... nothing worked. I thought my hair was doomed for eternity. Then I had a novel idea-- I should try a combination of dandruff products. I purchased Nizoral A-D after reading some good reviews, then tried out a new regimen. Every day I alternate shampoos-- Nizoral, Neutrogena T-gel, Garnier dandruff shampoo, and a gentle shampoo for normal hair. Guess what? I have my old hair back! It's shiny, not greasy or dry, and FLAKE FREE! The only downside to this product is the masculine scent, but if you use a scented conditioner, no one will notice. I highly recommend this "combination therapy" idea that I have come up with. It has saved my hair!

this is a good product it cleared my dandruff in one day i heard its also good for hair thinning which is also good the only bad thing about it is it left my hair kinda dry so if u use it buy a conditioner or a hair lotion of some sort

I am a Black female who is currently stationed in Afghanistan. The water here is extremely harsh with clorine/chemicals that wreck havoc on both my skin and my hair. I was mortified to have to deal with unsightly flakes on a daily basis. I thank the other reviewers who raved about this product - within 3 shampoos, all of my flakes were gone!!! Talk about a blessing! The price is small cost for the confidence I feel when taking off my cover/helmet. :) I'm a customer for life.

I struggled with terrible scalp issues (itching, flaking, scabbing, and oozing) for almost 2 years before I found this product. I tried so many others, including coal tar products which made a difference but nothing like this. After a couple uses the difference was obvious, and now my scalp is in great condition. I use the shampoo about once every other week now.

I have used this off and on for probably 10 years. I read in a magazine that this lowers the testosterone level on your scalp, which in turn helps with hair loss. I found it to be true, because after the birth of my 3rd child, I lost almost all of my hair especially on the top of my head. Washing with this 3 times a week at the advice of my local dermatologist helped me tremendously. He recommended it for my hair loss problem. It was not a cure all, but it helped ALOT. Now I use it for itchy, scaly scalp once a week and it gets the job done. It has been a lifesaver for me!!!
