Directions

Shake well before using.  Pump foam into hand and blend in circular motion over freshly cleansed skin.  A little foam goes a long way - so you only need one pump for each arm and two pumps for each leg.  Apply sparingly around elbows, knees and ankles.  Wash hands with soap and water immediately after use.  Avoid contact with clothing until dry.  Sunless tan begins to develop in two to four hours and lasts for days.  Wait one hour before bathing or swimming.  Reapply as needed to maintain or deepen color.

Avoid contact with eyes.  This product does not contain a sunscreen and does not protect against sunburn.  Repeated exposure of unprotected skin while tanning may increase risk of skin aging, skin cancer, and other harmful effects to the skin even if you do not burn.

With other non instant tanners, you don't know if you have an even tan until hours later, then it is too late to remedy any uneven application. I have found that best way to apply this foam based product for your face, neck and hands is to use a makeup sponge. You can dispense the foam onto the sponge directly or you can do what I do, I dispense the foam into a small dish and then dab just the right amount I need with the makeup sponge to apply to my face and neck. For other parts of the body, you might use your palms with thin rubber gloves or use a slight larger makeup sponge for even application. I only use this product at night allowing it time to set in overnight, then wash off the tint in the shower next morning. It works perfectly and the tan looks very natural. My only gripe is that the tan fades very quickly. I have to apply it every other day. I heard that Neutrogena has discontinued this product ... because I can no longer find them in drug stores. Does anyone know if it is true?

You have apply it quickly because it dries very fast. I love the color. I do not like the dispenser though. The first time I used it, the foam (liquid) went everywhere. I leave the cap on now but I am wasting the product and not happy about that!

Great! by Kell in Rochester, NY on 6/25/08 Pros: Even Tan, Natural Tan, Not Greasy, Works Quickly Best Uses: Body, Face Describe Yourself: Quality Oriented Bottom Line: recommended I bought this because I have already had a skin cancer scare and i've found that it really does create the best sunless tan of all the products i've tried. however, there's a very specific way i use it to get the best results. Yes there is an instant bronze that streaks if you get water on your skin and stains your clothes. So what i started doing was applying the tan at night before bed after showering, exfoliating, and putting on lotion. Then i go to bed (with a towel over my sheets) and let it sit for 8 hours. In the morning i shower off the excess tanner (and tanner smell) using a soft cloth, not a lufa, and am left with a nice, healthy looking glow that's not too orange, but definitely noticeable. I would not use this product any other way because if you do get water on your skin, the tan that develops won't be even. Let it do it's job over night and apply every 3 days.

I have been using it for over 2 years now and would highly recommend it. If you are looking for a long term tan, this is not the product. But if you are looking for short term tan with awesome results... this is the product for you!

The one thing I don't like about the product is that it takes up to one hour before you can wash it off, but otherwise its an awesome product... not like others I have tried.

It does not streak because you can see where you are putting it with the instant bronzer, and the instant bronzer is a plus, it gives you an instant tan.

It also is giving you a tan while you look like you have a deep tan already. Yes it has a smell, but all self tanning lotions smell the same way.

Definitely gives you lots ... by Anonymous in Undisclosed on 1/19/07 Definitely gives you lots of color fast with less odor than most. However, be prepared to work fast to keep from streaking. Also, a little water is all it takes to smear the bronzer. The tanner lasts through one or two showers. The color is great; very natural and not at all orange. . .just don't streak or smear it! I would recommend using the facial version on your entire body instead.

I would give this 3 1/2 ... by Jennifer S in Denver, CO on 7/29/06 I would give this 3 1/2 to 4 stars because it does work-- you get an immediate dark tan (and I am fair skinned, so I was surprised). The problem is that it is only a temporary tanner/bronzer--it washes off as soon as you bathe. This product does not "build a tan", but it does give you a darker tan quicker than by using other sunless tanners (it just doesn't last more than a day and you have to re-apply the next day.) It also has a bad smell that sort of lingers with you all day. ALSO, make sure not to get wet--meaning, if the rain drops hit your legs or if you accidentally drip some water on your legs or arms, the bronzer will run!!

This is great. It's nice ... by barbara in Undisclosed on 1/12/06 This is great. It's nice to be able to see where you have applied the product. I have very fair skin (like cream white) and this works great for me. If you end up a little streaky, try using a little water to smooth out the streaks, and then wait a few hours and apply more product to cover imperfections. Its very hard to apply self tanner perfectly all by yourself, so see if someone can help you apply it for better coverage.
