I used these every night to help me stay asleep, and I can say they work very well! You can get a few good uses from each pair before they start getting a little icky, and loose their shape. I'd say anywhere from 3 to 6 good nights, maybe a little more. I did have some discomfort with each new pair, since they needed to be broken in, but not enough to go without. I did, however, find another type of earplugs at my local drugstore by Flents that are tapered designed for added comfort that I feel work a little better because of their design and are NRR 33 versus these that are ~25 to ~30. These do work great, but if you're wanting earplugs that are a bit more comfortable, try to find Flents comfort foam. They run about the same price depending on where you go.

I've tried all of the others and these work the best for me. One end of each plug is a bit softer than the other and doesn't irritate my sensitive ears. This is my go-to brand and I keep coming back to them despite a sometimes higher cost. My husband who always told me he can't use earplugs is now using this brand and happily sleeping well despite our noisy household.

If you roll these between your fingers and then press them into your ears, they will stay in place. The don't completely block out noise, but do block out most of it. They are comfortable and stay in place better than the other types that are sometimes cone-shaped. I have found that those fall out.

Besides the nightly noises of the city, i'm plagued by inconsiderate neighbors. Can't live, or rather can't sleep, without them.

I have a very noisy roommate from overseas who has no idea what consideration means. She likes to talk on the phone loudly when I'm asleep (we share a studio apt.) and she makes all kinds of noise during her morning routine. After trying to talk to her about it (along with the language barrier), I decided to buy ear plugs to see if that will ease my stress of not getting enough sleep. These earplugs are a miracle. Never do I hear her crazy antics in the morning. I sleep right through them and when it's time for me to get up, I feel refreshed! The only problem with these is sometimes if you are not careful with how you put them in, they do fall out in the middle of the night. But, just double check and make sure that they are secure in your ear and you should be fine. I highly recommend these!

I sleep with earplugs every night and have tried them all. These are the only ones Ive found that conform to my ear (by expanding after you put them in) to sufficiently block out all the noise.

I use them every night to blok out noise because i am a light sleeper. They last for about 7 - 10 days. Then they get squished.

Earplugs are confortable for sleeping and they block out most noise unless it is right next to your ear. Ear doctor recommends soaking them in alcohol to prevent infection if you use them a lot. They last a pretty long time before you have to discard.

Can't sleep without them now.

I LOVE THESE! I've been using them for 18 years now & I hope they are never discontinued. I've tried other kinds of earplugs... the foam kind that are rounded at one tip, those fall out & don't block enough noise even if their decibel rating is higher than these... the silicone ones, the wax ones, they get dirty too fast & are uncomfortable to use... the rubber ones that are meant for swimming, yeah they are not useful for sleeping. These are awesome! They fit so well in my ear canal that the noise is really sealed out. I cannot handle snoring, which wakes me up in the middle of the night & keeps me awake thereafter, & these are real lifesavers. A pair lasts me a while so I don't have to change them that frequently, & because they're white I can easily see when they need to be replaced. I take a pair with me when I travel for good measure, & if I have travel companions they always end up wishing they had my earplugs. Too bad.
