I sleep with earplugs every night and have tried them all. These are the only ones Ive found that conform to my ear (by expanding after you put them in) to sufficiently block out all the noise.

Earplugs are confortable for sleeping and they block out most noise unless it is right next to your ear. Ear doctor recommends soaking them in alcohol to prevent infection if you use them a lot. They last a pretty long time before you have to discard.

I use them every night to blok out noise because i am a light sleeper. They last for about 7 - 10 days. Then they get squished.

Can't sleep without them now.

I LOVE THESE! I've been using them for 18 years now & I hope they are never discontinued. I've tried other kinds of earplugs... the foam kind that are rounded at one tip, those fall out & don't block enough noise even if their decibel rating is higher than these... the silicone ones, the wax ones, they get dirty too fast & are uncomfortable to use... the rubber ones that are meant for swimming, yeah they are not useful for sleeping. These are awesome! They fit so well in my ear canal that the noise is really sealed out. I cannot handle snoring, which wakes me up in the middle of the night & keeps me awake thereafter, & these are real lifesavers. A pair lasts me a while so I don't have to change them that frequently, & because they're white I can easily see when they need to be replaced. I take a pair with me when I travel for good measure, & if I have travel companions they always end up wishing they had my earplugs. Too bad.

I have to say these are the best earplugs I've ever used and will ever use. The more common, softer foam earplugs always left my inner ear itching the next day. I don't believe I have any allergies to latex or any other synthetic, but this happened often with other ear plugs. I was hesitant to try these, because they seemed so much harder than the rest. After going through several brands, decided to give these a try - PERFECT! They block out sound beautifully and comfortably - I sleep like a baby, now. They also stay in better for me than others did. After about 7 days I usually replace them because they've lost most of their "fluff". A great product and would definitely recommend!

These were not uniform in length, the material was much rougher than the previous plugs that I have used (Mack's Safe Sound Soft Foam), and they were too short for my ear. I put one in, getting ready for bed, and I had to remove it with tweezers. Regardless to say, I could not use them and my ear ached for a while after I removed it (I did not put it in too far, I followed the instructions). I was very disappointed.

I find this product essential to good sleep and protection from the noise-oriented world nowadays. I carry a couple of sets of these with me all the time. I have tinnitus which is most often triggered by excessive noise, and this product helps manage and reduce the discomfort of tinnitus for me.

I've used this brand for years--ever since I married a snorer! Used correctly, they are comfortable, effective, and affordable (I use the same earplug two nights in a row, and then toss). For the most efficient utilization, I hold one as if it were a mini corncob between my fingers. Then, holding one end steady, I use the thumb and forefinger of my other hand to mash and twist the other end into a narrow cylinder; then simply insert deep in ear canal. I discovered that if I do it this way, the untwisted end stays fresh (i.e. the shape bounces back better) for the next night's use. If someone out there finds a more comfortable brand than Flents, then please tell me!

I have used these for YEARS and will not use other brands. I do use them only 2 nights before tossing. I do think the company has somehow made them less soft and "spring back" than years ago....that "planned obsolescence thing" - but still these are the best ear plugs - you can hear just enough for emergencies, but not enough for "normal" noises to wake you, in my opinion. Now if drugstore.com would carry the 25 pair packs so we can save even more money (and ordering time) it would be great! :)
