Very stiff, just need to use a tiny bit. My husband actually adds a little water. Does have a strong (but good)smell. Would overpower any cologne...

I tried it out, and since then, I have not used any other. It offers a superior hold throughout the day, and provides a fresh, masculine, lingering scent that you'll receive comments on. It also makes for minimal flaking. This is by far the BEST styling gel ever made for men.
