The smell of this is fantastic. Reminds me of honey-butter, and my husband says it smells like pineapple. Absorbs really fast, goes on smooth, I would recommend it to anyone.

Having decided to tan regularly, i then found i'm apparently allergic to what's in most moisturizers. I stumbled upon the Burt's Bees and it's allowed me to keep a tan all year round. It's definitely worth the cost, finding it in stores, and feeling a bit "counter culture" to be avoiding the perfumes, dyes and chemicals :-)

I recieved this lotion in a kit of Burts Bees Products. I liked some of the things in the kit (Peppermint Foot Lotion, Banana Hand Creme) but this would not be one of them. I smelled it from the bottle and was turned off at first. A while later the smell lessened and it smelled okay. I rubbed it into my hands, which i will say that it moisturizes and softens well. The down side is that after it was on my hands for a while it smelled like plato. So much so that i washed it off and putt the Beeswax & Banana Creme on instead. Bottom line is if you want to moistize with plato this is for you!

I have two small sample bottles of this that I got in different Burt's Bees sample packs. I will use them both up, but I probably wouldn't ever buy the product in a full size. There is nothing I really disliked about the product, it just isn't the right one for me. My skin is really dry over most of my body, and I don't find it nearly moisturizing enough. It does sink in well, and doesn't leave your skin feeling greasy afterward. It will also make your skin soft if it wasn't that dry to begin with. I really love the scent of this, which is a bit of a rarity in the Burt's Bee's lotions and creams that I've tried. If your skin only needs a light moisturizer I would recommend this product. Otherwise, you'd probably do better with something else.

There are a few things I really try to avoid in lotions: concoctions that leave me feeling like a sticky greaseball, disgusting perfumy scents, and lots of chemicals I've never even heard of (I guess I'm not the best science major?). What got me trying this lotion was that it's almost completely natural, something like 98-99%. The best part is, it's much better than pretty much every other unnatural lotion I've tried out there (you know, the ones with parabens and other questionable chemicals), and I've tried a HUGE number of every brand. It's not heavily greasy, just moisturizing enough, and has a yummy sweet scent (when I apply it before bed, it leaves my blankets smelling faintly like donuts!). It lasts for a couple hours but if you are having a long day, I'm sure you'll need to reapply. For some people I realize that the scent is quite strong, though not in a perfum-y way, more in a vanilla-dessert way. Highly recommended if you are looking for a creamy, environmentally-friendly treat, but I do also suggest that you try out the scent before investing in a bottle.

If I had only 3 things to take with me on a deserted island, it would be a good man, a good drink, and this lotion!

I LOVE THIS STUFF! I had very dry legs, arms, and hands. I apply this every day all over my body, including my face. It smells good enough to eat, and the scent lasts for a while. It smells like vanilla to me, and I get compliments all of the time for it. Also, I have very oily skin on my face and this doesn't make it oily.

This product gets four, not five, stars because it just isn't rich enough for winter. That being said, I had dry spots (eczema?) that disappeared within a week of regular, daily use. I had previously tried Eucerin, and even that didn't get rid of the dryness and itchiness. It is just amazing to me that after trying every OTC option I could get my hands on, this finally got rid of everything: the dryness, itchiness, even the discoloration. I saw a lot of complaints about the smell. It does have a sweet, honey scent to it, but that doesn't really bother me. The only downside, as I've mentioned before, is this really is lotion (not a cream) and my skin needs something a little richer in the winter.

I would recommend this lotion if you like the smell of honey. I have dry skin and use this in the summertime when it's humid outside. It moisturizes really well, and sinks in nicely without leaving a greasy feeling. If you prefer a heavy duty moisturizer, I would recommend the honey and orange wax lotion--it's thicker, seals in the moisture, and smells better.

I love this lotion, it smells great. I often get compliments of smelling like coconuts, to me it doesn't smell like coconuts but many people have commented on how good I smell after applying it. The only down side is the size I run out too often. I have dry skin and this lotion feels light and keeps me moisturized.
