This is nothing more than "green goo" that stinks. I have long hair extensions and I thought I would try this based on the reviews. I squeezed it out of the tube and the smell was gross. Then, I rubbed it into the hair extensions and it soaked in immediately, and I tried to run a large comb through my hair, and it would barely budge. Not sure what the fuss is all about. I am not impressed, and I had to use half of the tube, just to cover my hair. Not worth the money if you have long hair.

I wanted to like this product, but it just doesn't work with my fine, shoulder length hair. I followed instructions, used it before shampoo on wet hair, and my hair was a hot mess afterwards. It dried out my ends and left my roots greasy. This would probably work best for thick and/or curly hair. I haven't tried it as a pomade, but I will not be purchasing this again.

when i say i have been through alot i have been through alot. i have been looking for things that helps me manage my hair better when it has two textures (perm/new growth). it detangles and helps with the shedding. it also makes my hair shinny. i found this stuff through hairfinity and traycee from kiss. they help with all hair types and trust me if it wasnt for them i would be perming my hair every 6 wks.

I love this and bought more!

I try different products all the time and buy in bulk and I loved this product it smells amazing! It also works wonders on my hair , I had a Japanese relaxer done on my very curly, frizzy, kinky hair and it became damaged weak and began to break. I have been using this product for about 2 to 3 weeks at least 2 times a week and I already see a difference. My hair is much stronger, shinier and healthier. I bought a bunch more just to have handy, LOL!

i think this is best used as a finishing/styling product than as a pre-shampoo treatment. just a tiny amount works wonders for flyaways and to curl-up those curls! my hair is super short though...i don't know if it'd be too heavy for longer hair. it also smells really good and leaves hair shiny!!

This product is amazing! I noticed a difference in the softness and fullness of my hair after the first use! I forgot my good deep conditioner while in Hawaii recently and was in need of something I could put on while out in the sun/heat to keep from more sun damage and to keep hair from drying out. This was about the only thing I could really find I felt would do what I needed it to do and IT DID. I was able to wet my hair at the pool shower, put in the product, then later shower and shampoo. I DO follow this with a light daily conditioner as my hair seems to need it, but I can tell it has been deeply conditioned prior to that. My blow out is smoother and hair more manageable.

I have wavy, semi-curly hair naturally and I of course would love to have not so much of it. My hair is thick, coarse & dry. I read the other reviews written here & I have to say it truly just depends on your hair type. I use this twice a week and have now for a month. Never has my hair been greasy or anything close to it. I've also used this on my wet hair after shampooing & conditioning. I've used it on my dry hair to smooth out the frizzy's and it works well for that too. I think I get more benefit out of it because of my hair type and how I want my hair to look. So for me, it's an EXCELLENT product that I will buy again & again.

I tried this first as a styling product as they mention on the back, but my hair is so long and the small amount I tried wasn't enough but was distracting me with the smell. If I had used the larger amount I needed, others probably would have been able to smell it as well; and I prefer to not have my hair products act as a perfume. Maybe only use it as a styling product if your hair is shorter, but as a pre-shampoo it's great! I use it with the Super Shiny Grapefruit & Sugar Beet shampoo and conditioner and my hair hasn't been this shiny or soft in a long time. I had never tried a pre-shampoo before and though it may seem like a lot to spend I think the results are worth it.

Use before shampooing.
Wet hair completely. Massage one tablespoon of Avocado Butter Pre-Shampoo Treatment into scalp and through hair concentrating on ends and other damaged areas. Comb through with a wide-toothed comb.
Leave on for 15 minutes or longer for intensive conditioning.
Rinse hair and scalp thoroughly.
Shampoo as usual.
Use daily or as needed.

As a styling aid, rub a small amount into palms and apply to damp or dry hair. Style as usual.
