My hair can be straight, wavy or outright curly on any given day, but this spray adds medium hold, plus shine, no matter what. The hold is good, IF it's not an excessively humid and/or windy day. However, if your hair is in a nighttime up-do, or a complicated/ delicate style, & you need super-strong hold, this is probably not your best choice. For casual 'dos, you'll get good hold that also stays very touchable & is never sticky. My hair is long and the "Sheer Blonde" hairspray keeps it bouncy, unlike many of the hairsprays I've tried. Finally, I know it's supposed to be clear, with no blonde or gold color, but it does seem to bring out highlights in my medium ash-blonde hair!

Provide a nice gloss to hair, but holding power not so great. By end of day hold is gone. That said, if you use a lot of it it holds better, but that's kind of expensive. Love the results, at least for a while.

Great product for color treated hair. My hair was like straw, but after using this product my hair felt healty and soft. Definitely recommend the conditioner.

I was happy that John Frieda fixed this hairspray. I used it when it first came out and loved it. Then they changed the formula at some point and it was just awful - didn't work and smelled horrendous. Now it's back to it's roots, and trust me, everyone, this product is great once again. It helps add a medium-strength hold to my blonde waves without any funky residue, and its fairly easy to brush out. I use it every single day.

This product is my finishing spray. It holds without weighing down or changing my hair color. It can be combed through to refresh the style a few hours later. In every way it is a versatile, effective, quality product, especially suited to lighter hair colors. It's affordable too.

Don't use it often, but when I do I always get compliments on how shiny my hair is! Love it.

I am not a blonde; but I have highlights in my light brown hair - keeps color alive while light weight.

I would have given the product 5 stars as I have been using it for over a year, but they changed the formula, and it stinks now. The scent makes my sinuses hurt. I am going to have to find a new hairspray. This one works great if you can stand the new smell.
