I bought this product to help reduce dark pigmentation and even out skin tone. This has helped with both those things and also helps to prevent breakouts. It really helps with exfoliation. I also bought Ambi Skin Discoloration Fade cream for dark spots and use it in combination with this so it's hard to say how much impact each product individually has had on the problem, but in combination the difference was noticable right away.

African American Women -- this is THE TICKET! I have been using this product for several years... one bottle lasts for many months! I wake up with a pimple, and this does the trick on each spot. No more spots, no burning, no bumps! I have had combination skin with fine bumps/some breakouts for years... this product helps manage all this. I have tried many other potions and products, but this is the only one I can use under make-up with no issue. My skin is not 'bad', but this glycolic gel makes it BEAUTIFUL. This is the only thing I rely on when I have a special meeting or event. I am in my 40s now, and don't have any connection to the manufacturers -- so this is nothing but a consumer endorsement. After years of use... no one believes I am 44 -- I look 34!

I have battled melasma (hyperpigmentation) for about a decade. I'm now 43. I've used prescription Differin and hydroquinone, OTC fade creams, highest sunblocks I can find. Of course, my pregnancies made it worse, but it started long before. Nothing worked. I have been using this gel for about two months, and I am absolutely astounded. All my melasma is disappearing. It's working slowly, but it's working very noticeably and during the height of my sun exposure (summertime in New Mexico). And it's brutal sun. I use an 85 SPF block and hats, but I still get dark patches everywhere. This stuff is fading it all away. I'm usually sensitive to a lot of moisturizers, blocks and makeup, but I've had no problem using this gel. I bought it for my mom and sister too!

I love that this product is not too drying, is easy to apply (no waste) and really does help clear your skin. I've used MD Forte products and I prefer this. I don't want a PEEL, I just want a clearer, smoother complexion and this does it well with regular use.

I'm 18 and have had acne since I was 12. This is the first thing out of hundreds spent that actually worked. For the first time, I really don't have acne. A few little ones, but I have not gotten a big, painful pimple since the first day I used this 5 weeks ago. I was concerned for the first week because I got all these white heads, but they were tiny and went away in a day. I guess it was just my skin purging. Also my scars are diminished and my face looks brighter. This is highly recommended. And I never rinsed it off for the first two weeks FYI. And I have pretty sensitive skin. This never irritated me.

I agree with another review. This stuff just seemed like really expensive water. The consistency is very watery and it seems like you have to use a bunch to get it on your skin thus it doesn't last long. I didn't have any difference in my skin using this compared to other glycolic products I've used.

I've used 10% glycolic acid cream for about a year so I know what wonderful things it does for my skin and I know how it feels on my skin. This gel was basically just expensive water as far as I'm concerned. Any good glycolic acid cream will sting a bit when you first apply it and this does not. Those of you who experienced good results with this gel should try a real glycolic acid cream; you'll be amazed at what it will do for your skin!

I've only used this for three nights so far, and it's completely cleared up my adult acne already. I have very sensitive skin, and this has given me no problems so far. I'm following directions and rinsing off after 15 minutes for the first two weeks. My skin is so soft and has a gorgeous glow. Great price, too. I'll keep using this one.
