I had very high hopes for this product, it seemed that it would be great for my occasional breakouts and combination skin that sometimes is acne prone. I used it as directed and after three weeks had to see a dermatologist to correct my skin--still working on it a few months later. This product gave me horrible cystic acne and also lots of surface acne that looked awful. It's been so bad it brought me to tears. I'm most upset that I wasted so much money on this product just to have to throw it away. And I have to be on a prescription acne product to fix my now awful looking skin. I never write reviews but felt I had to warn those with acne prone skin that this product will possibly make a disaster out of your skin!

I love this product. It is the only product my skin will tolerate. I am allergic to many cosmetic ingredients. It has kept me looking my best for many years. Love the pump because it gives you just the right amount.

I had really high hopes for this gel after reading the reviews. I normally use Alpha Hydrox Souffle and that keeps my face pretty clear. I used this gel on my face for one month and it made my skin worse. Within the first week I had three cystic pimples appear, one on my chin, two on my neck. Four weeks later, they are still there under the skin and they won't pop or go away. I also have numerous, small flesh colored bumps on my forehead and jawline that were not there before I started using this gel. Also, an oily sheen always appears on my face within an hour after applying the gel. I will be going back to Alpha Hydrox Souffle now. What a waste of [$].

I bought this based on the positive reviews here. I was so disappointed with this, it did nothing for me and was just like using water.

I used this product on my feet, everyday day applying and then putting lotion on top. It has made my feet so soft. I will keep using this product.

I bought this product to help reduce dark pigmentation and even out skin tone. This has helped with both those things and also helps to prevent breakouts. It really helps with exfoliation. I also bought Ambi Skin Discoloration Fade cream for dark spots and use it in combination with this so it's hard to say how much impact each product individually has had on the problem, but in combination the difference was noticable right away.

African American Women -- this is THE TICKET! I have been using this product for several years... one bottle lasts for many months! I wake up with a pimple, and this does the trick on each spot. No more spots, no burning, no bumps! I have had combination skin with fine bumps/some breakouts for years... this product helps manage all this. I have tried many other potions and products, but this is the only one I can use under make-up with no issue. My skin is not 'bad', but this glycolic gel makes it BEAUTIFUL. This is the only thing I rely on when I have a special meeting or event. I am in my 40s now, and don't have any connection to the manufacturers -- so this is nothing but a consumer endorsement. I have battled melasma (hyperpigmentation) for about a decade. I'm now 43. I've used prescription Differin and hydroquinone, OTC fade creams, highest sunblocks I can find. Of course, my pregnancies made it worse, but it started long before. Nothing worked. I have been using this gel for about two months, and I am absolutely astounded. All my melasma is disappearing. It's working slowly, but it's working very noticeably and during the height of my sun exposure (summertime in New Mexico). And it's brutal sun. I use an 85 SPF block and hats, but I still get dark patches everywhere. This stuff is fading it all away. I'm usually sensitive to a lot of moisturizers, blocks and makeup, but I've had no problem using this gel. I bought it for my mom and sister too!
