I have had a 30 year rash. This controls it. First thing that has worked!!!

Ray has contact dermatitis on his hands and this is the only thing we have found that gives him any relief. We will never be without it.

I used this for rashy, burning and found that you can use it all up vrey quickly.

For minor household first-aid Cortaid spray is so easy to use and effective.

I bought Cortaid Spray a few years ago to make it easier to apply cortisone to rashes, eczema, insect bites, etc. It was easier and quicker to apply on my daughter's skin who, now at 13 years of age, uses it herself whenever necessary. More and more friends have asked us where they could purchase Cortaid Intensive Therapy Cooling Spray after trying it!

I bought this cream because I wanted the convenience of a spray to help my itch. I don't really like using gels or ointments. But I wish I had listened to the previous review that spoke of the alcohol, because this product really caused a burning sensation whenever I applied it on my itch sore. After reading the label, I finally figured out why; this product is 45% alcohol (the ingredient that causes the "cooling" sensation)!!! Maybe it can help a closed-wound itch, but for those who have scratched their itches, it is most likely open-wound and still itching. Have you ever tried putting alcohol on an open wound? It burns! So, I wouldn't recommend this to itchers because most itching areas are open-wounded, and the alcohol in this product will burn. I am going to try the topical gels now that don't contain so much alcohol.

This is the best over the counter stuff I have ever had for my recurring itchy rash. The only other relief I've had is a combined prescription steroid ointment. This stuff keeps it at bay. I've never had to go to get the prescription since I found this stuff.

I would not be without this product in my medicine chest. I have found it to be the only spray to relieve skin irritations or mild rashes. I have tried other creams and sprays but found this one to top all others.

I found this on clearance at my local drugstore and since it was cheaper than plain hydrocortisone cream, I brought it home. Bad idea. The active ingredient might have helped a bit, but the alcohol in the spray really burned my skin, making it more red and itchy than it already was. I didn't feel any cooling. The spray also left my skin feeling sticky for hours afterwards, even when I tried rubbing it in and using less. I don't often give bad reviews, but when a product does the exact opposite of what it claims to do, I feel obligated to warn others. I wish someone had warned me.

I tried this product recently for an allergic reaction my son had to deodorant. It cleared the rash up in a few days. It dried quickly, worked well, and was better suited for the underarms than the cream would have been. I would definitely use this product again.
