It is gentle enough to use to remove eye makeup, but not very effective for removing makeup from the rest of my face. I also put it on my face and neck before taking a shower; it not only blocks water from drying out your skin, but the steam from hot water allows the cream to penatrate - sort of like a quick facial, and it works just as well as the more expensive creams. I still have problems with acne, so it is too heavy a cream to use on my face. I do use it on my neck when I work out to block perspiration and that has worked really well for me

I bought this product not too long ago and quite frankly I don't like it as much as I thought I did. It felt greasy going on my face and not only that it had a horrible smell that stuck. Also, I "tissued" it off with a damp washcloth and my face still felt greasy. I had to use a facial wash to completely get rid of that feeling. Ugh. Then I look at the ingredients and the number one ingredient is mineral oil. Go figure. Well, I will give this product to someone else and will definitely look at better options.

Smooth it on, gently massage it into the skin, tissue off. For dry skin, repeat. Been using it since I am 13 and am now 69. Have tried to switch to other brands and always return. It has helped to keep my skin young.

I use this as my daily cleanser. I tried the cucumber cleanser but was not as pleased. This leaves my skin well moistuurized and glowing. It thoroughly cleans my skin. I've had clogged pores on my nose since I was a teenager (I'm in my late 30s now), and this stuff cleans it right up. When I'm done, the skin on and around my nose is so smooth and not a hint of any clogged pores. I had this dry patch on my chin that is nonexistent now. It reappeared when I used the cucumber cream ( I wrote a review for the cucumber cream as well). I use this with the Dry Skin cream. In the AM, I rub the original cream on my skin for a few minutes, take it off with a cotton pad then wash with a warm washcloth. In the PM, I follow the same procedure as the AM but instead of the warm cloth I wash with my olive soap. In both instances I follow with the Dry Skin cream. Perfect skin.

This is GREAT for removing any kind of makeup, for any skin type! The only problem with this is that when you first buy it, it has a really strong rose odor to it. But you get used to it over time. Another con would be that when I apply it to my lid to remove makeup, it slightly stings (doesn't make your eyes hurt that much).

USe this product on a clean face. Rub copious amounts of it in circles on your face and neck and massage in circular motions. Rub this way for 5 minutes and then clean face with cotton pads. Then use face scrub (e.g. St. Ives) and rub scrub in circular motions for 3 min. Finish off with toner and you hae your own facial treatment at home. I do this weekly and I wear NO make up and get compliments on my skin tone and glow.

This cold cream cleanser is a treat for dry and/or sensitive skin. So gentle and effective at removing makeup. I use it with a warm damp cosmetic sponge to wipe off instead of tissue, and it works just as well.

I use Pond's Cold Cream to remove my makeup every day...and have for years! I've never been a face-washer with soap and water. Pond's is GREAT! I use waterproof mascara and this cold cream removes it beautifully. And it is NOT greasy!! Younger folks are not accustomed to using cold cream...but it is very effective in removing makeup, including the waterproof ones...and moisturizes at the same time. If your skin tends to be oily, just wash after using the cold cream....if your skin is dry, don't wash.

This is so much better than expensive department brand soaps like Clinique's face bar soap. Much better than Cetaphil. I only wish someone told me about this product years ago. I haven't even been using it too long, but I can already see and feel the difference on my skin texture. It's a great skin saver for dry sensitive skin. Extremely gentle yet cleans very well.

ponds cold cream is the best and its super cheap which makes it even better! Its been around forever and is great for removing eye makeup. I was also told to use it as an eye cream, or moisturizer. And it lasts such a long time too!
