Ummm...... by New Comer! in San Fran, CA on 7/9/08 Pros: Easy To Use, Good Value, Pleasant Scent, Reduces Irritation, Smooth Cons: Not Close Enough Best Uses: Close Shaving Describe Yourself: Clean Shaven Bottom Line: not recommended Well this is my first razor and so far I have been using it under my arms but, it doesn't give a close shave. I took my razor out one morning used it checked my arms the next day and...NEW SHAVE!! It gets it good sometimes but not all the time.

It's been about a month ... by Erin in Kansas City, MO on 5/7/08 It's been about a month since I've been using the Venus Divine (same razor) and I don't ever remember having such smooth legs as I do now. All the bumps on the back of my thighs that I thought I'd never get rid of are gone - and the same razor works just like the first time I opened the package. I've also been using Kiss My Face Moisture Shave (rather than Skintimate) and I think this new shaving cream has helped a great deal as well. With the Venus Divine/Moisture Shave combo, shaving is no longer a chore!

I was sick of those disposable razors, which didn't shave well at all even the first time, and the second time they were just dull and useless. I decided to buy the Divine, and I am more than satisfied with it! I don't have to replace the heads often, actually, I don't remember the last time I changed it. And it easily removes all the hair. I truly recommend it!

Dull! Dull! Dull! I ... by Anonymous in Undisclosed on 12/26/06 Dull! Dull! Dull! I usually use Venus Vibrance or the original, but I decided to try the Divine. My legs were prickly within 2 hours of shaving and it gave me the usual amount of irritation, bikini-wise. It's like using a way used-up razor blade even when it's just out of the box. I would think that it is the "comfort coating" that makes it so dull. Unless you prefer a dull razor, get the original Venus or the Vibrance, those keep my legs smooth for a while.

The pivoting head moves so you get the hair in all the odd angles and curves. I very rarely get nicks using this razor, and it can go a long time before it needs to be replaced. Also, I like the small thin handle, good to grip on to.

It sure knows it's way around an ankle, front and back of a knee, armpit, etc. I have a 3 year old, so I have to get a quick ahower. In the 4 months I've been using it, I haven't knicked myself once. I get a really close shave, no razor burn, and I used to get ingrown hairs that would be painful, but I haven't had any since using this razor. It is expensive, but it really is worth it. I tried Shick Intution before this Venus Divine, and although the lather was great, I took 4 huge chunks out of my legs. I threw the Intuition out after the second use in favor of Venus Divine.

Fabulous shave! I thought ... by Kelly E in Carson City, NV on 10/27/05 Fabulous shave! I thought the big, flat head was going to cause problems on curves and smaller areas, but I think it's actually better than a smaller-headed blade. The handle is well designed and easy to hold. The blades justify their cost slightly by lasting a little longer for me than other brands. My only complaint is that the lubricating strip doesn't seem to last as long as the blade.

The only problem I had ... by Ashley in Williston, FL on 10/5/05 The only problem I had with this razor was shaving under my arms. The majority of the hair was gone in seconds...quicker than any of the disposables I've used in the past. There were, however, a few stubborn hairs that took several passovers to do away with. It was annoying at first...but when the job was finally done, my underarms were the smoothest and the softest I've ever felt. I finished my legs and my bikini line without the same problem. This is the closest shave I've ever felt!

Prior to using this razor ... by Anonymous in Undisclosed on 9/12/05 Prior to using this razor my bathroom floor resembled a slaughterhouse after I shaved my legs. Venus gives me smooth legs and no bloodshed! I never thought a razor could make a difference; now I know how much of a difference it does make!
