Used this 2x daily and saw results within a few day. After about 2 weeks of use, my skin was even and my nose (prone to blackheads and small under skin bumps) was totally smooth. I get tons of skin compliments now and recommend this to anyone who asks. Not drying at all. I follow this up with a bit of coconut oil as a moisturizer and I'm good to go. :)

I'm dry/combo for reference.

i have sensitive skin - i have mild acne and acne scars. i was hoping it would soften those scars- well it didn't and it made me brake out - not big pimples just a lot of small ones underneath the skin. Stopped using it and my skin cleared up for the most part. it doesn't exfoliate well because the beads are teenie tiny.

I am currently using all Aveeno products in my daily face routine in the mornings and evenings. I wanted to try something different than Benefit Cosmetics skincare line. I used that for awhile but it was not really cleaning as well as Aveeno. I just liked the smell of the products. I heard about Aveeno on You Tube of the beauty gurus and decide to try it. I think I will try the bath and body stuff next after I finish what I am using currently.

This is sooooo useless! I thought I'd get this to try it out. OMG! What a waste of money! I went back to St Ive's facial scrub. I recently switched to Nuance facial scurb, it's even better than the St. Ives. If you want to see amazing results and not waste your money, do NOT buy this!

This product does a terrific job with scrubbing away those stubborn flakes and definitely evens texture. It is great for sensitive skin, doesn't sting or burn. The texture is a light slighty gritty feeling. It is not a hard super grainy scrub, whicj I like especially for sensitive skin. Even though it is not very gritty it is fantastic at removing dead skin!!! The only negative I have is that I don't like the smell very much, it's not bad, just a clean herbal smell.

I love Aveeno products, but not this one. I have really sensitive skin and the fragrance not only bothers my skin, but my sense of smell. I would not buy this again.

I have been searching for an inexpensive,
yet powerful, skin polisher for sensitive
skin for quite some time. I've finally found
one in Aveeno's Positively Radiant Skin
Brightening Daily Scrub. Its gentle enough
to use almost every day, but to keep from
over-drying your skin, I would recommend
only using it twice a week. Nice results!

Let me start by saying I *LOVE* 9 out of 10 Aveeno products I use (like their sunscreen and Positively Hydrating body wash, which I adore). I found Aveeno's 'Smart Essentials' Southernwood facial scrub to be pretty mediocre, so I was hoping this one would be better.

After just the third time using it, my entire face turned red, broke out in fine bumps, and felt like it was on fire! Talk about a wake-up call! It felt like I had washed my face with pure acid. For the record, I DO NOT have sensitive skin; in fact, I tested negative for the top 50 most common allergies years ago (for what ended up being a completely unrelated medical condition) - so I am completely at a loss for an explanation. Since I'm not allergic to soy or gluten, the only other thing I can think of is that this scrub is made from some really weird synthetic ingredients that my body has never encountered before (kind of scary to think about, especially since I use a wide range of beauty products).

I can see from the reviews here that this has happened to other people, too. I guess the scrub works ok for some people, but buyer beware -- keep your receipt handy for a few days until you know for sure your face won't react negatively to this!

If it says "scrub" in the description of a product, you better believe I'm buying it. Needless to say, I've tried a lot of them. This is the softest "scrub" I've ever tried. I would call it a tingly gel because you can't see and don't really feel the micro beads. I was surprised that it was great for acne so I've been using it as my daily cleanser. If you use it twice or more daily you have to use moisturizer every time to prevent drying out, otherwise any SPF will do.

This has been my daily face wash for over ten years and is still my favorite. I've tried more expensive brands for four times the price and I still go back to Aveeno!

I feel that it helps to improve my skin texture and I will continue to use!
