Open clog drains: To activate product, use two cups of Earth Enzymes™ diluted with two quarts of warm water in a separate container.  Make sure product is dissolved completely.  Pour liquid down clogged drain.  Allow to work for 24 hours, then flush with water to clear drain lines.  Rinse mixing container thoroughly before reusing. Weekly Maintainer: Dilute two teaspoons of Earth Enzymes™ with warm water in a separate container, then pour liquid down drain.  Follow with 2 cups of water.  Rinse mixing container thoroughly before reusing.

This was just okay - did ... by Sara in Bellevue, NE on 4/7/08 This was just okay - did not clear up drain totally but the slow emptying did speed up a little. I didn't like how you had to wait 24 hours to use the drain though!

Best for drain ... by Rebecca in Fort Worth, TX on 3/4/08 Best for drain maintenance. If you have a really tough clog, this stuff doesn't work at all. But, if you use a little bit periodically, it keeps the drains pretty clear.

I waited the entire 24 hours for it to work on both the shower drain and the sink drain, and didn't work on either one. I'd give it one star, but I do appreciate the fact that it's all natural.

But, as long as I use a filter to keep hair out of the drain, this does keep my VERY narrow, VERY old drain in my apartment flowing smoothly. It's very good at eating up anything except hair.

I get best results with it in the shower and kitchen sink. In the bathroom sink, not as good as I wish--maybe something unedible is down there. It may take a while to work, but there is no toxic smell, I feel safe with it around pets and do not panic about a splash or spill (still would avoid it). If there is a very slow or plugged drain, I just pour some in directly and walk away. Not the instruction's advice, but it works.

I have mixed feelings ... by Judy K in Jackson Heights, NY on 7/4/05 I have mixed feelings about this one. I live in a building with 65-year old pipes that can't take any chemical drain removers. I used this on my clogged tub and it cleared it up. However, it does take awhile for it to work - you need to leave it alone to do its job for 24 hours, in fact. That's ok for a tub, but if we were dealing with the kitchen or bathroom sink, that would have been an issue.

I wasn't sure what to ... by Anonymous in Undisclosed on 5/2/05 I wasn't sure what to expect after reading the mixed reviews for this product, but I knew I wasn't going to give in and buy another product that is tested on animals just to "wash away" my extremely clogged garbage disposal. So, after taking apart the disposal, cleaning out the pipes, and still having no luck I bought this product. I couldn't believe it - it cleared the drain right up! I used it full strength as suggested by another review and it worked like a charm. I am sooooooo happy that I was able to clear up my drain without having to buy from a company that uses chemicals or uses innocent animals to test their products.

Examples: Three times now I have ground up something in my garbage disposal that should haven't gone down, and clogged it. Three times, I just poured a quantity of this product full strength (I didn't make the solution suggested on the label), and waited about an hour, and voila! The drain opened right up. I also had a nagging hair clog in my bathroom sink. Twice over 6 weeks, I tried the Drano stuff to no avail. We poured this down the drain, waited a few hours, and then flushed with hot water and the drain opened right up. All it takes is a little patience (and try the product full strength instead of the suggested solution on the label). With this evening's ... by Anonymous in Undisclosed on 2/29/04 With this evening's success in opening our clogged toilet, I'd swear by this Drain Opener with no doubt. A guest flushed things that shouldn't have been down to our toilet and badly clogged it over the holiday. It took the entire bottle of this opener plus quite some endeavor before the toilet was finally unclogged. However, with no harsh ingredients down the drains, less harm to the environment and no plumber visits, I'm very happy with the result.

Well, maybe it opens it up a LITTLE, but it definitely does not do the job like it's supposed to. I can't stand the thought of pouring harsh chemicals down the drain and into our water system, so I thought buying this product would be a good idea for the earth and we would be unclogging our drain. I did everything exactly as the instructions state - mixing a certain amount of this powder product with hot water. It's supposed to dissolve, but instead, all of the powered stuff just sank to the bottom. Next I tried pouring all of that down my drain (still with the instructions) and it only opened up my sink a little bit. Then I went to the store and bought Drain-O Max, and it cleared my drains and washed away my tears.
