I found it to provide good protection but I found it to be about the same as Chapstick, Clinique and other well know brands.

I love to wear lip glosses and lighter lipsticks but find in the summer that they will reflect the sun and give me a bad burn so I really need to put something with an spf on beforehand. I love that this has a high spf and since it is a men's brand it doesn't give me too much gloss allowing me to follow it with my own color of lipstick or gloss. I didn't feel the smell or taste was overpowering as others did, however when people said the tube was tiny they weren't kidding-I think I have had samples larger than this tube;I better be able to squeeze all of it out for the price. Many "healing" balms actually make my lips flake so this is worth it if it keeps them from chapping-so far so good.

I am outdoors most of the year and this product is a lip saver. I first found it at sephora when I burned my lips on a Disney visit and was not too happy with the more expensive womens lines of lip protection. I went over to the mens area and bought this and have been a fan since. My son took the first tube and he loves it too. Great product and no more sun burned lips...no more chapped lips either. Nice consistency and really stays on a long time. It does, however, burn my lips a bit. I guess that's from the intense mint? It's not my first choice of a lip balm.

I use to use only Carmex but it stopped working. So I triend this. I love it. Now I wish it was a bigger size lol. It's worth [$] though.

I am prone to get dry, chapped lips. This stuff is the best I've tried. Seems to be absorbed rather than just provide an oily coating.

This product is great for daily use, but I use it mostly at night before bedtime - after washing and moisturizing my face. I have sensitive, dry skin and my lips will dry and chap overnight with other lip balms. Or if my lips are especially dry or chapped during the day, this stuff pretty much heals it overnight!

Super extra over-powering mint/menthol. That is really all I noticed. Oh, and that it's very small. I just don't understand the rave reviews... Many better products out there.
