I just want anyone looking for the 'perfect' well constructed toy to keep baby happy... THIS IS IT! Im actually back to purchase my 4th one as 2 of my friends with babies cant find them anywhere and know how nice they are. They are so easy to hold and when baby rattles it uncontrollably, it never hurts! I will be back to get more as needed for something not ending up in bottom of toy box. 5 star vote. -MARY

Purchased this when my daughter was 6 months old. She was just never that into it. She preferred other toys consistently over this one.

I bought this toy for my 7 month old grandson and he really likes this Winkel toy. I think it is one of his favorites because it is so easy for him to grab and play with and the loops seem to just fascinate him, he never seems to tire of playing with it - and LOVES to put in his mouth - at this age EVERYTHING goes in his mouth! He is teething now and the ability to put this one in the fridge to get it cool seems to really aid in his teething discomfort. His other favorite is the Whoozit toy also available on this site. They are not your "conventional" baby toys, but in my opinion they are really great as well as inexpensive! Buy 1 for you and 1 to give away too, because people seeing it always ask where did you get that toy?

A fantastic product! My daughter was eager to grab toys but couldn't get a grip on any of them. But with the Winkel, she can hold it and wave it around. She is delighted by it and I think her dexterity has vastly improved. She has Down Syndrome and is enrolled in classes for infant development. The therapists use this toy during occupational and physical therapy. The other toy she can handle with ease is the Woozit (also sold on this site).

My 6 month old really likes this toy. He received it at 4 months, and it was one of his favorites because it is so easy to grab and manipulate. Even now, when we put several toys around him, this one is usually his first choice. He also gnaws on it constantly, and though we haven't started teething yet, I'm guessing it will be great for that as well.

For us, this toy is better in concept than reality. We bought it for our daughter at about 3 months and, every time she'd try to play with it, she would get frustrated and either scream or cry. We actually came to refer to it as her "arch nemesis". As she's gotten older, the toy has become less frustrating but she still has little interest in it.

My baby loves this toy. Easy to grab, and easy to hold on to, even for the younger babies.

My baby got this toy for Christmas at 7 weeks old...she loves to stare at it and can follow and track the moves and the rattle sounds. Now that she's a bit older, she is grabbing and holding it. I have no doubt that it will continue to be a favorite when she begins teething. I do think it is probably best for the little babies.

My baby loves this. I got it for him at 5 months, and it is easy for him to move from hand-to-hand, and he likes to stare at it.

This is a fabulous toy, but not for every baby. My daughter who is 16 now LOVED this teether! It was easy to hold on to, soothing to touch and fun for her to gnaw on, it was her favorite toy for quite some time... SO I just naturally assumed it would be the perfect thing for my new baby. BUT when my 5 month old got his hands on it, he inspected it for about a minute and that was the last time he showed any interest in it. He is now 7 months old and actively teething, and I still put it in front of him with his other toys and he continues to show no interest in it. I guess I think it's cooler than he does. Perhaps I can chew on it myself instead of the cookies that sit by my nursing chair to loose my post-partum weight. Worth the try, I still highly recomend it.
