So far so good! by G in Minneapolis, MN on 7/25/08 Pros: Easy To Use, Soothing, Works Effectively Best Uses: Black Heads, Oily Skin, White Heads Bottom Line: recommended I tried this product as a sample twice before committing to buying it, as so many things cause my very oily skin to break out. In just one week since I began using it I'm finding that my skin is clearing up and doesn't feel or look greasy two hours after washing. All this without getting dry or itchy, as is the case when I use benzoyl peroxide or salicylic acid based treatments. I've had acne for nearly 20 years, and am hopefully seeing the light at the end of the tunnel!

It makes your face feel smooth and tight and improves the texture of your skin. I don't know if it works on acne, though -- I have a bad case on my chin area, and I can't tell if it's clearing up any. But I LOVE the smell and how my face feels!

I like this product. You ... by Anonymous in Undisclosed on 11/24/07 I like this product. You don't have to use very much, so the tube lasts quite a while. In the winter my skin gets very dry but I still get breakouts, and this treats the breakouts without drying out my skin.

After years of struggling with oily and acneic skin I feel I'm finally getting control of it and this is one of the items that has helped me to do that. I use AHAVA everything for my face but this is what I reach for when I have a flare up. A little goes a long way and a tube lasts me for months. I find that it reduces the inflamation and redness and helps to clear the blemish faster than any other product I've tried. I am using AHAVA skin care however, so my break outs are less these days thanks to AHAVA but when I get them this is all I need!

I find it hard to believe this would make someone's face sticky or shiny, unless you use far, far too much. You really don't need a lot of this. I would say a pea-sized amount for the whole face is sufficient. This is not a moisturizer, so there's no need to slather it on all over. Just use it to spot treat, or use it in areas where breakouts are worse, like your T-zone. Be careful when applying near the eyes, because this product is very strong. All in all, very lovely product which has kept my face more matte and helped to prevent and treat pimples.

I used to use another product and moisturizer; for awhile it was keeping my skin clear, but then sadly it stopped working. I had to find something else that would be effective. This stuff helps prevent acne! I only use this and a light facial cleanser and all is well! I took one star away because it didnt exactly help clear up existing acne and one day I didnt use it in the morning and just put on foundation and the next day I had a zit. Otherwise, great product! Love the refreshing peppermint, smells amazing too! I highly recommend this product.

I tried this product as a ... by Jennifer W in Falls Church, VA on 6/26/06 I tried this product as a sample and was very impressed. I've had oily skin, and breakouts from it, for the past 30 years. This product actually works really well, and I was impressed by how fast I saw results. It doesn't irritate my skin. I use it at night on problem spots and the next morning my skin is much less red and irritated. The acne has dried up or healed for the most part. The smell isn't really that bad.

I love that it doesn't peel off or leave your skin shiny after using it. The first time you use it, the peppermint stings, but after a while it doesn't bother you at all. Works great on smaller breakouts, and preventing those pimples you can feel coming.

First of all, as I've ... by Steph in Undisclosed on 3/2/06 First of all, as I've learned, this product will do nothing for your face if you are using any cosmetics or harsh chemicals on your face. Second, if you stop wearing makeup, and THEN use this product for 2-3 nights, it helps shrink, clear up, and soothe your acne. I'm not sure if it helps for SEVERE acne problems. I have VERY oily skin. Virtually 99.9 percent of cosmetics -- foundations, powders, face lotions, etc., will harm your face and cause acne to be a LOT worse. I used foundations -- you name it, I tried it -- for YEARS and my face just got WORSE (more acne and scars). I would get 10-15 HUGE pimples on my face a week. Ever since I stopped using mainstream cosmetics I have seen a MIRACULOUS improvement in my face. Instead of an average of 650 pimples a year which adds up to a lot of pain, embarrassment and scars -- I have had maybe 20 pimples in the last year.
