Refill ONLY with Dawn Direct Foam. Other dish liquids will not work or foam. For the best cleaning: Turn pump to unlock Use in place of your normal dishwashing liquid when washing dishes by hand Squeeze wet sponge to eliminate any ecess water, add dishwashing foam directly to it Use minimal water while washing items. Rinse using as much water as you like For tough greasy messes, apply foam directly to item, no need to add extra water

This is the BEST dish soap! by Steph in Temecula, CA on 6/22/08 Pros: Easy to Use, Efficient, Powerful, Simple Instructions Best Uses: Home Describe Yourself: Homeowner Bottom Line: recommended This soap is great! One pump on my dish scrubber and I can use it forever! It REALLY gets my dishes squeaky clean and I love that I don't have to turn the bottle upside down and that I don't have to clean the goo or overdrip down the side of the bottle like I do with other soaps. I love foaming hand wash and love foaming dish soap even more! This is an absolutely wonderful cleaner--it cleans deep and I feel very confident that my dishes are clean! I read that someone else didn't like the smell and I was hesitant to try it, but I think it's perfectly fine smelling--not a very strong scent at all--certainly nothing offensive about it.

I've tried all the dish soaps and I have mixed feelings about this one. On the plus side, the foam really does last through a whole day's worth of dishes, and it does a great job of cleaning, especially noticeable on plastic storage containers which come out very squeaky. On the minus side, because the foam is somewhat non-water-soluble, it takes much longer to rinse it off my dishes. So while I'm using less soap, I'm using a lot more water and time. And I really dislike the "lime surge" scent, smells like chemicals not fruit. Overall, I like the soap enough to finish my current bottle, which seems like it will last forever, but I'm going back to regular soap after it's gone.
