This is a wonderful product; however my favorite is the Balance Trail Mix Fruit & Nut Bar [...]

This was not one of Balance's better bars. It had that chalky taste of a protein bar, as well as a funny artificial chocolate flavor. For a much better tasting bar try the Balance Bare Sweet and Salty Chocolate Almond, which tastes more like a sweet treat.

Great for a quick breakfast or lunch!

There are three or four nutrition bar flavors that I really like (both Balance and Zone Perfect), and I consider this one the best. I really like that in addition to balanced nutrition that gives sustained energy, this bar (unlike most) has some fiber - I also like the texture the oats give it. It is just chocolaty enough to feel like a treat, without being too sweet. A plus is that this brand is a little cheaper per bar than the other brand I like.

I have been consuming these Balance Bars for several years now and still enjoy them. To me they taste just like a granola bar but with the added benefit of protein and balanced nutrition. I have half a bar when I first get up in the morning to take the edge off my hunger. Then I frequently have half a bar with fruit as an evening snack. I also take one with me when I have a long day of errand running or when I travel. They're convenient, taste great, and will stave off hunger until a meal is available. The consistency of the bars is soft and chewy. All three varieties (chocolate chip, fruit and nut, and oats and cinnamon) have excellent flavor, but my favorites are the chocolate chip and the fruit and nut. Drugstore.com has the best prices that I've found and the bars have always arrived fresh with plenty of time before the expiration date. I have no reservations about recommending these bars. They are very tasty and much better for you than a candy bar.

I eat the bar for breakfast, fast convenient, good nutrition, not too sweet, I look forward to starting my day

Excellent taste & nutritional value; loaded with protein.

Have for breakfast 5 days/week and always one with me in case lunch isn't possible. Awesome. Helps hypoglycemia.

Too sweet for the breakfast meal on the go (unless I'm out of the peanut butter bare bars) but a good afternoon chocolate craving cure that gives fast and long lasting energy.
