Goes on pretty dry, in my opinion. I have oily skin and live in a region where summer is 95 degrees/95% humidity, designated as sub-tropical by the US Dept. of Interior. Hot & humid weather makes pores large and oily. The product was not oily or even "slick/creamy," but nice and dry. Stayed in place over a hot summer afternoon & evening outdoors. Saw no evidence of it making my pores bigger/oilier. Also didn't smear onto the car window glass or leather on the inside of the door, like every other sunscreen product has done.Don't understand the complaints about "white residue." I am Creole, with reddish-tan skin, and I don't think it left a white residue on my skin. In the summer I do use Sally Hanson Airbrush Legs applied with a makeup sponge and dab/buff it on for makeup on my face, neck and any place else I want a kiss of added color (it doesn't come off with sweat or water, only with soap and water.) Maybe an application of that over the sunscreen would solve the issue for some people who think this product leaves a white residue? Airbrush Legs comes in 4-5 shades. I am happy with the sunscreen product so far; wish it was not so expensive, but I've thrown out so many other products that broke me out or were too oily or creamy for this hot and humid climate that in the end the [$] for this product is "reasonable," because it seems to work without the negative factors of the less expensive products I've tried.

I LOVE the Obagi line. But this product is clearly not made for brown skin. When I put it on, it creates a greasy white film that doesn't blend with my complexion. If anyone from Obagi is listening...PLEASE go back to the lab with this one & create a product that works for skin of all colors.

I won't ever buy another sunscreen...and I feel like I've tried them all! Put it on...stay protected all day and forget it...you won't be able to feel it on your skin at all...!

Excellent all-around sunscreen. Over the years I have tried countless sunscreens...from inexpensive to very expensive and run into one or more problems with them.....e.g., too greasy, ineffective sunscreen, adverse skin reaction, too pale, etc. However, my family and used the Obagi sunscreen the entire summer and we love it! It's not greasy, does not cause any skin reaction at all, and is a very effective sunscreen. My only minor complaint is it does leave a slight pale cast on the skin, but not nearly as bad as others I've tried. Hopefully, the Obagi makers will come out with a tinted version. It does cost more, but two tubes lasted me and my family (4 people total) the entire summer since we only use it for our faces.

I love the whole Obagi line, effective products that deliver. The sunblock delivers as well. Goes on smoothly & great under make-up.

They should rename this product "the invisible sunscreen." Once you put it on, you forget you're wearing it. It's not sticky or greasy, doesn't have that sunscreen odor, and best of all, works like a charm. I put this sunscreen on everyday and it doesn't interrupt my other beauty routines. It soaks right into my skin and I can wear whatever other lotions or perfumes I want. It's fantastic!

I like this product a lot, except that it looks too pale on my skin. I prefer something tinted for my skin.

I can't praise this product enough. I've used numerous sunscreens over the years, but am now a devout fan of the Obagi product. It's light and does not leave a sticky residue. For me, the biggest selling point is the smell - there is none. Once I apply it, I'm not even aware that I'm wearing sunscreen. (Quite an accomplishment for an SPF 35 sunscreen containing zinc oxide.) Since it's so light and spreads easily over the skin, I don't have to use a lot. One tube goes a long, long way, making the price well worth it.

This is a fantastic sunscreen. It blocks out everything and it is not greasy, sticky or smelly. You do not know it is on after a few minutes. My husband even likes it, and he is impossible to please with sunscreens for the face. This is a really excellent item, and I will buy it again and again.

I never write in and review anything, but this is the best facial sunscreen I have used, and I have tried just about everything! I am on my second tube (one tube lasted about two months with everyday use), and my skin has never looked or felt better. I like it so much that I am already terrified they will stop making it, and am considering "stocking up" on several tubes. An added bonus is that it never stings my eyes as most other sunscreens do.
