I'm always on the lookout for a good high SPF facial sunscreen, and the best I've found is Eucerin Spf 30 for Sensitive Skin. It's not waterproof, but perfect for daily wear and isn't greasy, doesn't sting, and doesn't cause breakouts. Has UVA/UVB protection. This Banana Boat product stung when I put it on, and I don't have super sensitive skin. The label also says "water resistant", not waterproof, so I wouldn't count on it if I were swimming or working out in the sun. It did seem to go on OK, but still thicker than the Eucerin formula. I found it too heavy. It also caused blackheads and small pimples after a couple of uses.

This stuff is absolutely THE BEST sunscreen! My 23 y/o son and I (I'm 55) both have Rosacea and over the years, have wasted so much money on products that we could not use after the first try. Thru much trial and error we found this and now WE ARE ADDICTED, and both use it daily year round - even in New England winters! He works outdoors all year and finds it to be VERY sweatproof! The only CON - I cannot find it ANYWHERE locally! Thank you Drugstore.com for being our supplier!

This is the best facial sunscreen I've found. I normally wear SPF 50 on my body, but I haven't been able to find a facial sunscreen with a high SPF that isn't greasy or heavy. Instead, I use SPF 30 and apply a little more often. This sunscreen is effective and rubs in easily. I haven't had any problems with breakouts, but I'm not acne-prone. I noticed that this product is oil-free, but the packaging doesn't say it's non-comedogenic so that might be a concern for some. It does have a traditional sunscreen scent, but that doesn't bother me when I'm wearing it as a sunscreen. I have a moisturizer with SPF 15 for daily use instead.

Please note that I have only tried this stuff on my hand but the reason why it never got beyond that was because of the smell. It is a cloying sweet "tropical island" smell (honeysuckle?) which lingers and even just wearing it on my hand gave me a headache - I can't imagine it being all over my face, I'd probably pass out. If it didn't smell, I would definitely try it on my face because it had a moisturizing but non-greasy consistency and it dried matte.

I've been using this product for a week and am pleased so far. I have not noticed any break-outs, but my skin is generally pretty clear. The feel of it on my skin is probably the best of the oil-free sunblocks I've used - it is very light and non-greasy. My main problem is the smell. Though the fragrance is very light, it is still that typical sunblock scent. I figured that a product for faces would be scent-free! Still, this is a great product at a great price.

Good sunscreen that absorbs quickly and wears with a light feel. Even guys will agree to put it on because it doesn't reek with an obvious scent. When staying too long out in the sun recently, I forgot to apply this product to my neck. At the end of the day, the rest of my exposed skin; which got two light coats of this product, was completely unaffected, but my neck was bright scarlet. Enough said, it an astonishing illustration of how well this product works, almost straight out of a TV commercial.

Finally! Banana Boat brought back what I consider to be the best sunscreen on the market. Years ago this sunscreen was in a little pink tube that not only worked wonderfully under my makeup because it is a dry sunscreen, therefore my makeup wouldn't look or feel greasy, but my freckles also disappeared. Then like most companies, they either discontinue or change the product in some way. Over the years I have spent hundreds of dollars on cheap and expensive sunscreens trying to find one that would work as great as this one, but no luck. Although this new SunWear Faces is not as dry as it was years ago, (my reason for giving 5 stars instead of 6) it still works better than anything else out there.
