Warnings
These pacifier nipples are made of pure latex for baby's comfort. However, all natural latex can weaken after 2-3 months of normal use and should be replaced. To prevent a possible choking hazard, test strength regularly by pulling hard on all parts. Regularly check nipple portion, especially when baby is teething. If pacifier nipple becomes sticky, swollen, cracked , torn or shows other signs of wear, discontinue use immediately. Do not expose to excessive heat or direct sunlight for an extended period of time. Do not leave child unattended with pacifier. Do not tie pacifier around child's neck as it presents a strangulation danger.

My son would not take his Avent pacifier for more than 30 second stretches. Then I was having trouble with breastfeeding latch on. A very wise lactation specialist told me that the shape of the pacifier that would work best would be the one closest to the nipple shape. (of course, why didn't I think of that??) We recieved the Playtex binks in the mail, sterilized them, and boom...the baby took to it right away. The cons would be that there aren't enough air holes and its huge size. But clearly, the good outweighs the bad.

To Clean: Boil pacifier for five minutes before first use only. Do not boil thereafter. Simply wash regularly in hot, soapy water for about one minute and rinse thoroughly. Do not use dishwasher or steam sterilizer.
