These are pretty good. ... by Anonymous in Undisclosed on 7/23/07 These are pretty good. They are on par with atkins vanilla shakes, except these are a little larger and less expensive. They fill me up for a quick breakfast. I'm not a huge breakfast fan so havign these to drink is perfect for me in the mornings. Perfect for low carb lifestyles.

The one-star reviews of ... by Anonymous in Undisclosed on 7/3/07 The one-star reviews of this product should be discounted, as they are comparing the Slim Fast Low-Carb Meal Shakes with some sugary Slim Fast shake that no longer exists. While I empathize with the discontinuation of a favorite product, those hurt feelings have nothing to do with the quality of this product, especially as it stacks up against other low-carb shakes. I tried this shake for the first time today and was impressed by the flavor and thickness, as well as the list of nutrients I was getting. These shakes are two dollars cheaper than the Atkins shakes, and they are a half-ounce bigger. I hope Slim Fast keeps selling them. The low-carb "fad" has not abated over the last five years, and with any luck will continue--and for good reason, with gluttonous, sugar-crazed America boasting 70 million diabetic and pre-diabetic victims alone. These shakes are the easiest, tastiest, healthiest breakfast I've had in some time. Great product!

Sure, they are not a real chocolate milkshake from Dairy Queen, but when you are on a low carb diet, this makes a quick and easy breakfast or lunch (or even supper), and are quite a treat. They are filling, and should be served chilled for the best flavor. I can't wait to try the vanilla cream.

Make sure to drink them cold, or even served over crushed ice. Too warm, and they're not as good. Also, as advertised, they're filling and really do help you shed the lbs. Enjoy!

I guess the low carb fad ... by Anonymous in Undisclosed on 10/13/05 I guess the low carb fad has killed my favorite meal replacement. The original Slim Fast Vanilla shakes were good. When I tried this new one it was horrible! The taste has really gone downhill. I wish I knew where I could get some of the original kind.

I had a friend who used ... by Anonymous in Undisclosed on 8/12/05 I had a friend who used to drink this, so I tried it and found it to be very good. I have not tried it for weight loss or know if it is effective, but as far as supplementing calories and vitamins, I favor it. They now have the Slim Fast with 30% or so less sugar. It also tastes very good as well.
