Pros: Reduces Redness

Bottom Line: recommended

This product is perfect for red skin (my t-zone and cheeks are rather blotchy). Really helps to reduce appearance of redness like nothing else can. I use this product over foundation. If you use too much or don't have much of a redness problem this product will look green. But it's easy to take off and start over again. You'll quickly get the hang of how much is appropriate for you to use.

This is a great, easy-to-use complexion "fixer." I have a red nose and chin that I first noticed in photos. Not blemishes, just all-over redness from broken capillaries. Liquid foundation sort of covers it, but is too much trouble to use. For a darker red spot, like a blemish, use a sponge applicator or your finger. But for just reducing red all over (like your nose) use a good makeup brush. (I like the bamboo EcoTools brushes - very reasonably priced & well-reviewed here.) Then I use a mineral makeup on top. Sounds complicated, but takes just a minute or two. I'm 56, good skin (except for the red!) and I love what this product does for my skin tone. It's hard to find in stores....I bought two here in case it's going to be discontinued.

I will buy this product again.

I use this product over moisturizer and under AND over foundation. It really does help reduce the red. I have rosacea caused by starting with fair skin and getting sun damage. This helps cover it. I even got a compliment this week that my skin is like porcelain. Wow. I felt like I had makeup that really worked. This plus mineral foundation plus Prosacea is helpful. The only con to this product - you can see green if you don't blend it well.

I have fair skin which tends to get red and blotchy. It's embarrassing. I like this co's the green neutralizes my problem areas. I find that a little goes a long way. Just a sweep across my cheeks and nose and I am set. I also like the idea of the multiple shades.

I love this "green" powder, I have had it for years and have been looking for a new one. My dog really liked the brush, don't know how she got it, but she ate most of it. When I use to take call for my work (ER Nurse) I could just put that on and some gloss and mascarra and I was ready to go.

This is a wonderful light cover for red blotchy skin. I have typical middle age skin that is no longer evenly colored but no real blemishes or problems. I use this product as a light base for everyday casual going out. I finish it off with the physicians formula mineral powder that matches my skin color. This two step procedure is quick and works well. The green palette evens out my skin beautifully.

I also find this powder gives a sickly green tint on top of red skin, instead of neutralizing the red & making the skin look bright & healthy. I was disappointed that it didn't work better. I think I still have the compact at home (from 4 years ago) but I don't bother to use it. I feel too guilty to throw it away.

May be worn alone or over makeup. Lightly brush powder over face or specific reddish areas to tone down redness. For the most even application, be sure to tap excess powder from the brush before applying. For best results on dry to very dry skin, apply moisturizer prior to using powder.
