I don't usually buy products like this unless I've read a lot of good reviews about it, which I did. It seemed like a good, inexpensive option, so I bought it. I am very pale and usually just freckle instead of tanning, so I've been looking for a good self-tanner. I used it as instructed on the bottle, but I was not impressed. I used it only two nights in a row and even after much exfoliating and moisturizing, it left me very streaky and blotchy. It was very liquidy and I had a hard time blending it into my skin, due to the "quick-dry". Also, no matter how many times I washed my hands afterwords, my palms were noticeably darker. It made my entire body an orangey-yellow color and I got a lot of comments saying how fake it looked. I proooobably won't even finish off the bottle because I hate the orange look. The smell however, wasn't bad... and I will admit.. I DID love the sparkles :)

Just want to share a little trick I've learned...many of you have complained that the formula is heavy or greasy. I've gotten around that by mixing the bronzer into moisturizer. I use Khiels, but any lotion seems to work. I use about 1 part tanner to two parts bronzer - it isn't an exact science. Just put a dollop of lotion in your hand, and add about half as much tanner, blend together and apply. I believe that it gives a much more smooth and even tan, since you have more time to work with it before it dries, doesn't require as much blending, and best of all...makes the tube last much longer. I've been using Sublime since it came on the market, and I haven't found anything (drugstore, Sephora or department store) better!

I began using the Loreal Sublime Glow daily moisturizer + gradual tan. I really liked the product, but wanted a darker tan. After reading a lot of positive reviews, I tried this product. Maybe I just don't have the patience or the precision, but it is quite a bit more work for me. So I went back to the Sublime Glow where there is more forgiveness when it comes to application.

i HAVE TRIED JUST ABOUT EVERY SELF TANNER ON THE MARKET AND THINK THIS ONE IS THE BEST! iT IS THE LEAST GREASY, FASTEST DRYING AND GIVES THE MOST NATURAL TAN ( GET THE DARK EVEN IF YOU ARE FAIR), AND DOESNT STAIN CLOTHES. I HADNT REALIZED THERE WAS AN AHA IN IT UNTIL RECENTLY WHICH MAKES SENSE AS MY SKIN ALWAYS FEELS EXTRA SMOOTH AFTER I USE IT, WHICH IS AN ADDED BONUS. I AM TOTALLY ADDICTED .

I'm a dark complected guy and when I use this product a couple of times a week it gives me a dark natural look and nobody has ever told me that it looked fake. When I first started buying it a couple of years ago there was obviously a different set of ingredients and I liked the old formula better but this is still better than any of the other brands I've tried, and I've tried quite a few. My only complaint is the glittery look it gives your skin. Guys don't generally want to look sparkly. But that washes off the first time you bath and you're left with what you want and that's tanned and natural looking skin.

I have received more compliments when I use this product than any other. I have used everything. I have tanned at the beach, in a tanning salon, I still use the spray tan (mystic) from time to time, but it is expensive. I have tried every self tanner out there form chanel to banana boat. I have very fare skin, I cannot tan naturally. I love the Bronze loreal subline because it tans your right away with the bronzer and it has the most beautiful but subtle shimmer added to it, so when you put it, you litterally sparkle and glow. I go from looking like the palest person on earth to miss hawaiin tropic. I have had more compliments and people asking me what it is that I use, they don't even think it's a self tanner. when I tell them it's loreal sublime bronze self tanner they can't believe it. it does go on a bit heavy and you will feel a little sticky. I like the deep color because my skin is light and I need a lot of product. I don't look orange and it goes on even. I put a little on my arms, chest and legs when I go out at night for the shimmer effect. you will love it. If they stop making this, I will cry!

I love this this gel and will not use any other.Sometimes it is hard to find, until I found it here and I order 3 of them. Great price , works great looks great and it will not rub off on your clothes! I am fair skinned and do not tan outdoors so this is a dream come true. Leaves a nice healthy glow and you can see results right away. Also you can get the tan as dark or color you want! LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!! No need to look like a carrot or pay a salon. Try it and you will be hooked!

I am a black woman (medium complexion) with vitiglio (loss of pigmentation) on her legs. In the last year, I have tried several self-tanners and L'Oreal Sublime Bronze Self-Tanning Lotion in Deep is by far the best. It smells good, is easy to apply, and doesn't streak. I often mix it with Vaseline cocoa butter lotion. This self tanner really helps to even the skin tone on my legs ( I play tennis and wear shorts/skirts/dresses regularly). I highly recommend it to all, but particularly women of color with pigmentation issues like myself.

I have been using this self-tanner for many years. I use it pretty much every other time after my shower. That seems to be the best time to apply tanner, when your skin is still moist. It doesn't fully wash off after every shower which is good. I go to the gym several times during the week. So I like to have alittle color year round. I use it on my upper body in the winter and in the summer I apply it to my legs and feet also. I think this is the absolute BEST tanner. I feel I am a expert with this stuff. Lots of my friends alway ask me what I use. I strongly suggest to go with the DEEP color becuse even thought I am on the lighter side, it still just gives a regular tan color for a winter white skin. Not too dark and unnatural looking. This cream is easy to apply because it comes out with a bronzed color so it easy to see where you are too heavy so you can even it out. In the summer when I just get a very light suntan, that is all I need is a tiny base of real sun color and then apply this...It makes me look sooooo dark. So I hardly lay in the sun all summer because I don't need to. Of course I try not because it isn't safe also. I just love this stuff. It is sometimes hard to find the DEEP color, so that is why it easier for me to order it with Drug-Store.com. It is just easy for me than going from store to store looking for my color. I alway have a back-up tube in my closet. Aslo there is no smell with this product even after I work out. When you apply it after your shower ,that is all you need is 10 minutes for it to dry. So I wrap a towel around myself so my underarms and chest dry. I usually apply this at night after I shower., so it really has time to set in and dry.

This is the best tanning product I've ever used! I use it about once a week to keep the color. I also use it as a quick fix if I need to wear a skirt or dress. The bronzer works great!
