 | I am an African American female with natural non relaxed hair. This product worked wonderfully. My curls are loose, non frizzy and very pretty. -- Sharon on May 8, 2008 | | I am not sure I could ever live without this product now that I am used to using it. I do not have curly hair. Maybe I could call it slightly wavy- but when I use this line of products, I have curls. No fuss, not stiff, no blow dryer necessary. Just scrunch and go. I recommend it to anyone looking to love their natural curl. -- Anonymous on April 12, 2008 | | I love this stuff. My hair is wavy and gets very curly in the summer. This crme can be used once the hair is dry too. I'm usually running around all morning and often forget to do anything to my wet hair... and suddenly it's dry. If I run it very gently through my curls, especially the ends, it tames the frizz and enhances the curl without being stiff or too sticky. I touch my hair a lot during the day and my hands get a tiny bit sticky. Which is why it doesn't get 5 stars. I have had one bottle for almost 2 years and use it every day! It lasts! -- Andrea, greenwich, CT on April 9, 2008 | | This expensive product made my fine curly hair greasy, frizzy, and weighed it down. I had to wash my hair twice to remove the residue from my hair. I used half of the amount recommended. Tigi curls rock curl booster cocktailed with Condition 2 in 1 regular hold styling mousse works much better for 1/4 of the price. -- Marilyn K, Somerset, NJ on March 31, 2008 | | I have been using this product for over three years with excellent results. I have used it by itself and with the matching conditioner and or shampoo- in all the possible combinations. It stands alone well, but works wonders when all three are used. I get the best results by shampooing & conditioning with Curl Conscience wavy fine to medium hair products, then applying less than a nickel size amount to my shoulder length, loose curl, and fine/med textured hair. I scrunch it as I dry it with a diffuser on low or I go to bed with it wet, being sure to push it up on my pillow. The results are soft, shiny, loose curls that hold all day. I sometimes use shaper hair spray, depending on the weather and how it set. Note: I don't brush my hair. I always use my fingers. I also don't wash daily, usually ever other day. It will build up if you use it daily. Less is better. Good to alternate with other hair care products every few weeks. My hair has never been healthier. -- Amy M, Tomahawk, WI on March 26, 2008 | | Did not like this product at all. I have curly hair and it makes it look worse than using nothing at all. Does nothing to control frizz and definitely does not "define curl." It's just taking up space in my drawer. -- Patricia, Henderson, NV on February 29, 2008 | | It worked great for me! There are so many combinations of hair types; the mixed reviews prove that. I achieved very good results and I have thick, curly/spirals & fine hair (i.e. I have lots of hair, but the texture is fine, so if I touch it a lot it ends up a frizzy mess with lifeless curl). Products are generally for fine/thin hair or course/thick hair. Products that define are too stiff; ones that tame are too heavy, so I stack products: first a serum for frizz, then Fekkai curl crme for definition, and finally spray gel for control. I used this B&B product alone, dried with a diffuser, and got nicely defined curls, soft not crunchy, and no frizz! It is expensive, but if you use multiple products like me, its a savings overall. -- Angela, Tipp City, OH on January 19, 2008 | | So it's not the miracle curl cream that I've been seeking my entire life, but it does have some positives. I have fine, wavy/curly, shoulder-length hair. I used this product alone (did not use Bumble and bumble shampoo or conditioner with it, which may make a difference). The smell is heavenly, and my curls feel soft and silky. I switch my curl products often (most recently was using Aveda's Be Curly), and may add a spray gel to use along with this to really hold the curls in place. Overall, it seems to be a good product, albeit over-priced. -- Amber, San Diego, CA on December 12, 2007 | | I'm very disappointed with the results of this product! I expected more for the money I paid! I will not continue to use. It dried out my hair and even my curls were frizzy. Dont waste the money!!!! -- Anonymous on October 22, 2007 | | I am a huge fan of Bumble and bumble, but I used this once and gave it to someone else to try. My usual swingy, shiny hair fluffed up in wispy, dry curls. I wouldn't go out that way until I had re-conditioned it with my favorite, "Temptress." which leaves my long hair swingy, bouncy, and very shiny. -- elizabeth m, Laguna Beach, CA on January 31, 2007 | | I have wavy hair, and this product seems to be working. I know for sure it leaves my hair softer and looking healthy. In regard to my natural waves, it depends how I maneuver them at the time of styling. That seems to make a difference. I can get real nicely pronounced waves or defined curls, but it varies from day to day, and I hardly ever get the same effect. However, it does look nicer overall. Also, a good hair cut has proven to be very helpful. The instructions on the jar aren't true for everyone, as you must adapt to your own hair, unless it fits the exact profile of the model online. I do recommend it. Another thing, always use less than they suggest, until you find the right amount of product that can suit you best. -- Anonymous on January 7, 2007 | | I have weird hair. Very thick, very long, and straight on top but messy-curly-tangly underneath. Enter this curl creme. I apply it, swirl it, let my hair dry -- and it's instantly "in style" once again! Bumble and Bumble made my mess of hair stylish! Yay! -- Sharon, Nashville, TN on October 19, 2006 | | After reading all of the fabulous reviews for this product, I was extremely disappointed with it. It did not make or keep my hair curly, or even wavy. My hair was a big mess. I would have been better off not using anything. I tried using it several times to be sure, but had no luck. -- Nicole B, Alexandria, VA on June 19, 2006 | | I love this curl creme! For a while, I was straightening my hair because I was sick and tired of all the static, and my curls not coming out right. Then my mom got me this creme, and I've been curling my hair since. It really brings out my curls, and keeps my hair from having lots of static. The only bad side is that after a day it makes your hair very greasy, but I guess that should be expected, since this is a thick creme. -- Roxane, Woodbine, MD on June 4, 2006 | | This product was really great at bringing out the curl in my newly short, wavy hair. The only downside is that it left my hair feeling a little oily - wasn't visibly so, though. As curl products go - I would definitely recommend it. -- Alicia, Chicago, IL on April 10, 2006 |
