I use this oil in the bath for excellent moisturization and skin softening. It has a light scent and helps my skin combat the arid northern Arizona climate. I find that if I use this oil full strength directly on my skin, even after a bath or shower, it feels a bit greasy and makes me itch. I think it's perfect as a bath additive, though. I guess the secret is light application. Be sure to wipe the tub out after using in the bath - it can stay slick for days!

LOve this stuff, any kind of body oil will work as long as there is NO mineral oil in it.

great softener for right after the bath ,absorbs well without the greasy feel, a little goes a long way. and the price isn't too bad for the effectiveness of this oil. am definately buying this again.

It's a good multipurpose oil. I use it on my body and on my face. I can use it in the shower or after - great to have one thing that has more than one use. It's also not expensive

I purchased this because it was supposed to be lightweight and easily absorbed. NOT. It's probably the heaviest oil I've ever used. The scent is nice, but clashes with everything else. I used very little, but it sat on top of my skin and then wiped off on my clothes. Since I take showers before going to bed, it also wiped off on my sheets and pillow, so I found myself doing two extra loads of laundry the following day just to remove the oil from my clothes, sheets, and towels. The worst part is that the following day when I took another shower, all of the oil that remained washed right off--not a drop actually went into my skin. Aveeno at least absorbs. This just sits on top of your skin like regular baby oil or mineral oil. Ignore the description, because it isn't lightweight at all--not even close--and you'll end up getting it all over the place. My hair absorbed some of the oil sitting on top of my skin and looked greasy all day. Yuk.

Use it after stepping out of shower--this allows it time to soak in. Use it daily and you will notice the skin softening and smoothing effect. I've tried 'em all on my dry itchy flaky skin and this product wins hands down. I'm not so fond of the faint cocoa fragrance but this dissipates rapidly and completely. Application could be made more convenient and less messy with a pump type dispenser. I pour small amounts of the body oil into a smaller container with a pump dispenser so I can control the amount dispensed a little more accurately.

I enjoyed this product until I read all of the ingredients. I assumed it was paraben free, but it isn't.

I use my Booth's EVERY day in the shower as a "body conditioner", smoothing it all over and then giving a quick rinse to seal the moisture in and leave any greasiness behind. It is FABULOUS. I feel silky smooth but not oily and the scent is warm, light and clean. It does NOT leave a greasy residue in my shower as other oils have, so it is not a slippery nightmare for others. It is quicker and easier than slathering on lotion each day and I feel like I get BETTER, longer lasting results from the "healing" properties of this natural oil. You will LOVE it too!

I've tried so many lotions (vaseline, etc) and my legs would still be dry the morning i wake up or even in the middle of the night. But this (i use as a body oil after showering or anytime i feel dry) , i love! It smells great, it absorbs quickly amazingly without the greasy mess that you think you're getting into. and it's fun to just rub it in. I thought it is a little pricey, but i can see the bottle lasting a while.

This stuff is awesome! I've tried other brands (Neutrogena, Burt's Bees, Bath & Bodyworks, etc.), but this the best - it's also even the cheapest! I do recommend that you use only after a bath or shower to avoid feeling oily or greasy, but that's really good common sense with any oil. I have really dry skin and I slather it own when my skin is still wet, then dab at my skin with a towel afterwords (dabbing is recommended over rubbing by dermitoligists, as well) to dry off. If you have severly, painfully dry skin I suppose you could dab yourself dry, then apply Booth's, but you'd probably need to give it a few minutes to soak in before getting dressed.
