I've used a lot of self tanners and I'm sticking to this one. In fact, I stocked up just in case they ever discontinued it. I usually put it on at night and when I wake up, I have a nice even tan. It dries fairly quickly but I usually wait 20 minutes before putting on my clothes, just because I'm particular. I have had to put them on within 10 minutes once and I still had the same results. Unlike the lotion version of this same brand, this one is NOT shimmery.

This product on lighter skin tones does not look natural. Its not bad, but I would suggest just to try something else, like Jergens. Please save yourselves the trouble, its blotchy and too LA fake looking.I got comments after one application- "wow you look ...um..... tan (ORANGE!!!)" Only for darker skinned people.

I've tried many self tanners and this has been one of the best, even better than a lot of the expensive ones I've tried. It gives an even, natural looking tan and it's a gel so it doesn't feel greasy. It does take a while (15 - 20 min) to dry but it's worth it and the odor is not that bad. I put it on before I go to bed and I wake up with a great tan. Sometimes I have a hard time finding it in the stores, they are out a lot. I guess other people like it too.

Because this self tanner is a gel, it inevitably makes it harder to apply without getting streaks. You have to be so careful. My legs are currently streaked and orange colored (after using it about 4 times-I didn't want to judge prematurely). My arms look pretty good after using it- but they were tan to begin with. This also fades unevenly, so some parts of my legs, stomach, and shoulders are still tan while others are not. It makes me look like I have a skin condition. Another gripe is that it takes awhile to dry. I want a natural looking tan so I might try a spray formula-at least it's safer for my skin than laying out.

Best self-tanner I've tried yet.

I really love this self-tanner. Out of all the ones I've tried, this one creates the best tan. It's not splotchy like others. It also makes my legs feel smooth. I don't mind the smell - most of them have an odd scent that I can't describe, but this one isn't bad. The only thing that I don't like it that it seems to take longer than other self-tanners to dry. Even when I think it's dry, I'll put my pants on and my legs will still feel a bit greasy. Otherwise, I'd give it 5 stars.

The first time I used this product I was happy with the results but after the second day my skin was very, very dry and itchy. I took a week off before reapplying. I applied again on clean shaved legs and the next day when I applied again, my legs broke out in a terrible rash about 6 hours later. It's almost like a very bad razor burn that itches . I would not recommend this product.

This is my favorite self tanner for how evenly it applies. I wet the tops of my feet before applying it there and the effect is less dramatic, but more realistic on feet that don't usually tan well.

I've tried several different brands and types of self-tanner. Now that I'm deployed to Iraq, I'm in my uniform all day and do not get any sun on my legs. This product works GREAT in only a few days of using it. One word of caution - wash your hands well after applying. Otherwise you'll also see your tan on your hands in the morning!

I love this stuff, it is the only self tanner I have found that works great on my legs. You don't have to apply it every day either, I apply it once or twice a week. It can leave a little odor the first day, but it is worth it. Becareful around top of feet, sometimes if I don't rub it in really good it will have dark orange spots. But if you take your time and rub it in well and don't use to much in that area, you will be okay. It gives a great natural tan look to my legs and it also makes them silky smooth.

I commented on a friend's pretty tan and she said it was Loreal's Sublime Gelee. I tried it and loved it. No tan is better than a natural one but this product comes close. The heavier you put it on, the longer it takes to dry, so have to experiment, but I love the end result. I've tried many self tanners and this is the best.

Apply to fresh cleansed and exfoliated skin. Smooth on evenly, massaging with both hands until absorbed.
Use sparingly around ankles, knees and elbows.
Wash hands thoroughly after use.
Let skin dry before putting on clothes.
Use daily until you have achieved the desired level of tan, and then apply 1-2 times a week.
