This product works about as well as the clearasil version of this product, but the smell - almost exactly like lysol - is very strong and lasts a long time after applying the product. I just did not like having that on my face. So, although the price was a little better than Clearasil, I would not buy this again.

Have used this product for years. Hint of tint makes it right for any complexion. Covers and heals at the same time. Light in the summer but does it's job. Don't know what I would go to if it weren't around. Great product for adults.

This is an awesome product. Sulfur for acne has been around since the beginning of time! It fell out of favor when benzoyl peroxide and retinoids were developed, but for those of us with sensitive skin, there is nothing like it. I am in my 50's and still break out. I had to stop using benzoyl peroxide because it was just too harsh. I read that sulfur products work great with salicylic acid products, so I combine both products. In addition I use a soy extract based moisturizer (for aging). There are many wonderful sulfur products on the market - try them all and discover which works best for you. They kill acne bacteria and help exfoliate the skin. Acnomel has been around since I was a kid. There's a reason this product is still selling!

Clears up blemishes fast.

My mother used Acnomel back in the 50's and it is still the best product to clear up individual zits, IMHO. Put it on at bedtime and it will dry up the problem overnight. It's not harsh on your skin, but is very drying, which is what you need to get that zit zapped!

This is my 3 tube of this acne cream. It works well for adult acne, my teenage girls prefer this over other products which can over dry. I bought this for my friend, however it didn't work for her, but we all love it.

This product was the only product I was able to find in the stores that didn't contain Benzyol Peroxide or Salicylic acid, which are not recommended to use if you are pregnant. This cream is very fast acting and reliable.

I am in my fifties and still have acne occasionally. The cyst type that is very painful. This product works quickly without blistering my sensitive skin. It is heavy, does not absorb well, has an odor, and orange pigment so I only use it at night. But it works! and works quickly. Best product I've used including prescriptions.

I wish I had known about this product years ago. I have dealt with acne (including cysts) and oily skin most of my adult life. I have tried just about everything, including Accutane, which worked well for a couple years but the effects have diminished greatly over the years. Even foundation that is described as being suited for oily skin is no match to my extremely oily skin. I apply a thin layer of Acnomel first thing in the morning, then apply foundation over it. This product zaps pimples before they start and is the most effective product (medication or cosmetic) I have used to keep my oil at bay. My foundation stays much fresher throughout the day. I can't say enough good things about this product. It is also far less drying and irritating than products with benzoyl peroxide and salicylic acid. I simply love Acnomel!

I must say I was very disappointed with this product. I got it after reading the good reviews (for the most part) on this site. Unfortunately, it turned my acne prone skin into a dry pimply mess. Now, I'm doing damage control. Do not recommend this product to anyone with less than oil rig oily skin. Even with my oily skin type, it managed to completely dry out my skin with only once every other day mixed with moisturizer application.
