I can't believe all the good reviews this stuff got! It is the worst stuff I have ever used! It smells terrible and made my face break out horribly! It is the kind of stuff you find on the closeout table at the dollar store.

This is for adults who truly suffer from acne. It is best used at bedtime and will keep your skin from getting oily overnight. The sulfer is MUCH better than salacytic acid or BP for those who have real adult acne. I have had to use overnight acne creams for 30+ years and this is the BEST non prescription cream I have ever found.

This product is Sulfur based. Not Salicylic or Benzoyl. I've been thru Salicylic and Benzoyl Peroxide and neither has worked for. Sulfur base has worked out greatly for me. I use this product at night before i goto sleep. Because in the daytime, the sun can eat your skin away with this stuff on. What I like about is that it is fast acting. About 72 hours of use and my acne is just about gone. Except for the blemishes left behind, it has worked. Although, you shouldn't use it on large areas of the face as it can seriously chafe your skin. I would avoid using aggressive washes such Salicylic wash or Benzoyl wash because they combination of Sulfur and 1 of the 2 washes mentioned will chafe your skin badly. So, use a gentle wash like Dove or Cetafil face wash. The turn around on average for this is 14-21 days with consistent use. It's worth every penny.

I use this product at bedtime and in the morning. It really drys up my pimples. I have a tendency to pick at my face and this speeds up the drying process. I also use a benzoyl peroxide spot treatment along with this product. I can't not live with out this and am thankful it's so affordable.

This product did a great job reducing the size of large cystic-type acne. I have extremely sensisitve skin, with adult acne limited to just my chin - and this just developed in my 20's. I have tried nearly every on-the-spot acne treatment with the only result being irritated, dry, and red skin. This did a good job minimizing/eliminating zits, but I did find it a little drying. A little dry skin was worth having a huge pimple shrink overnight. Just use a little extra moisturizer to overcome dryness. :) Great product, maybe develop a line for sensitive skin?

Covers blemishes as well. My doctor gave me a sample as she highly recommends for spot treatment of my cystic acne. I have been using for several years, really clears up those hormonal breakouts, as well as acnetic ezcema.

I have oily skin and find it necessary to wash my face often during the day. I use acnomel at night and find that the product reduces pimples and helps keep my skin clear. Without it...I would not have as many smiles as I have now. Thank You Acnomel!!

I use it twice a day for acne rosacea. It's the most effective non-prescription treatment I've found. Short of antibiotics, I don't think I could do better. Hardly any scent. I almost didn't try it because it's tinted and I have fair skin. It looks dark coming out of the tube, but it blends just fine on me. I've come to appreciate the light coverage it provides. The tint doesn't stain my pillow, which is a big improvement over benzoyl peroxide which bleached out spots on my blue sheets. This product can be too drying, so I dilute it with aloe vera, which makes it go on nicely, too. This way I can adjust it to dry more or less, as needed.

This stuff is amazing. I use it like a foundation to keep my face matte throughout the day. It was a bonus discovery! I normally have greaseball oily skin and go through several blotting sheets, but not when I use this. Now just a little powder on the nose and I am fine--it's a big difference. I wish I had known about this stuff years ago! My only complaint is that it only comes in one skin tone. A product this beneficial ought to be available for people with darker skin. And beware, because it is very drying, so people who don't have oily skin could get too dried out. Clearasil makes a similar product that is less drying (and also less good at oil control). The Clearasil is a lighter tint whereas Acnomel is more of a tan, but I find that Acnomel blends in well even on my pale skin. And one more thing--when I wear Acnomel as a foundation I also use Colorstay concealer with Salicylic Acid. I have a flawless face all day or night, and only I know its acne medication and not make-up!
