Comments about Rainbow Light Prenatal Petite, 180 Tablets:

To the reviewer who claims these are not "petite" enough... she clearly hasn't tried the original Rainbow Light prenatals (where you just take 1 pill). :) They are truly horse pills. I had an extremely difficult time with those and I usually am fine with pill-taking.

These vitamins are good - good mix of nutrients and some probiotics. I had no reactions to them. They aren't tiny, but much much smaller than most prenatals.

However, I found that having to take 3 per day (even though I could take them all at once) was a little annoying and/or daunting. The price you pay for a smaller sized pill. Especially because I had to throw away a pill every so often because it started dissolving in my mouth too soon and became impossible to swallow at that point.Down the drain they go because they become too rough to swallow. I wish there was some sort of smoother coating on them. I did find taking them with orange juice (or milk) helped them slide down without dissolving as much.

Comments about Rainbow Light Prenatal Petite, 180 Tablets:

I take prenatal vitamins for skin and hair. I bought these for the sole reason that the label says "petite mini tabs" but when I opened the bottle, I was a little miffed to see the tablets are still the size and shape of my thumb nail, but thinner than a normal sized pill. See pictures below.

They didn't upset my stomach, but do leave a kind of strange aftertaste that quickly goes away. I also like that these promote digestive health.

I'm not pregnant, but my mother is a vitamin expert and she recommends these as being a very good multi, so that's what I take! Have gotten some strange looks from my friends, though, when I leave the bottle around :).

finally a complete multivitamin that i can swallow. it tastes bad so i take them with a glass of milk. i am not pregnant - but i prefer to take a supplement with extra iron and folic acid. it is important to take extra folic acid in the months before becoming pregnant.

Comments about Rainbow Light Prenatal Petite, 180 Tablets:

I love that these are plant based, have probiotics and everything else you need to support a healthy pregnancy. What I don't love it that you have to take 3 a day. But I chose this product because the pills were smaller. At first I tried spacing out the pills; taking one at breakfast, lunch and dinner. But I found I kept forgetting to take pills so I just started taking all 3 at the same time.

Comments about Rainbow Light Prenatal Petite, 180 Tablets:

I began taking prenatal vitamins before i was pregnant. It was important to me to buy ones which would be soft on the stomach as pregnancy has enough of its own fun side effects.
These pills claim to have all the same nutrients as my other ones which were horse pills but with a much smaller size. Im a fan and have bought a bottle for my sis who is also now pregnant. They don't have a coating, so you can taste the pill, but they are so small and go down easily so not an issue for me ay all.

Comments about Rainbow Light Prenatal Petite, 180 Tablets:

My wife and I are expecting for the first time and we did tons of research for a prenatal and concluded on the Rainbow Lite brand. The first bottle we got was the normal sized pills which are pretty big and were a problem for my wife to swallow. They never upset her stomach or anything, just too big for her liking.
Also I'm of the belief that taking a supplement all at once like that in one pill, one time a day is going to result in less absorption by the body than if several smaller doses are taken throughout the day. So with these petite pills, they're smaller for my wife's liking and since the serving size is 3 pills, they can be spread out the day. A win win for us.
