Comments about Rainbow Light ThinBerry Opti-Curb, Cinnamon Twist, 14.1 oz:

This is the first meal replacement shake that I have tired. I like the fact that it is vegan and trust the Rainbow Light brand (I took their prenatal vitamins throughout my pregnancy and still continue to use their other vitamin/supplement products). It is hard to find a shake mix that doesn't have whey. This product mixes really easily and tastes best with sweetened soy milk and the addition of some other fruit (I usually use a half of a banana and a handful of frozen berries). However, mixing the shake up on its own with just milk makes it taste kind of grainy and the color is a little off putting. I like that it thickens up and it is rather filling as a meal supplement. The only real downside is the price. I find that it is pretty spendy for, essentially, a week' supply.

I make a protein shake with unsweetened vanilla almond milk in a shaker cup everyday with this protein mix! I love it! I also make fabulous protein pancakes with egg whites, chia seeds, and a touch of agave-- yum!!

I love this shake! It tastes great when you mix it with almond milk and a few frozen berries! It's vegan and made with great ingredients. It keeps you full for hours and hours and gives energy. By far, my favorite shake I have ever found.

Comments about Rainbow Light ThinBerry Opti-Curb, Cinnamon Twist, 14.1 oz:

I mixed as directed at first - 8oz almond milk + 1 scoop - pure grit. Added 8oz of water - still gritty and undrinkable. I didn't want to waste it so I put it in the fridge and just put half of that in my morning shake - so the equivalent of 1/2 scoop of this + 8oz of liquid + 1 c of spinach + 1 c of fruit + another 1/2 c of water - STILL GRITTY! I ran it through the blender forever and I just can't get it to mix well. I'm choking it down but I won't buy it again. I'm trying to figure out how to use up the rest of it so I at least get my money's worth out of it.

The underlying flavor is good but if you don't like gritty drinks, I recommend not buying this.
