huge money saver.. i apply a bit of shave gell and bath oil to razor pit...clean the blade after every use (20 seconds.) I have been using the same blade over 6 months since i got it. the blade still shaves like new. it has already paid for it's self in savings. very pleased customer.

This works as advertised. I hate spending countless dollars on razors that go dull too quickly and with the Razor Pit I have been able to extend the life of each of my Mach 3 blades to 3 months or longer. Keeping a sharp blade is important because I have sensitive skin that reveals unsightly red bumps when a dull blade is used. The blades can be sharpened to a reasonable degree for up to 3 months in my experience. They will not feel like they are as sharp as day one, but they do extend the life of the blade. The product is simple to use and blades can be sharpened at any time. I like the product so much that I am purchasing one as a gift for a family member. If you are looking to save money on blades, the Razor Pit is as good a sharpener as any I have found commercially available.

It's similar to a razor strap surface from the old days for single edge razors that you can put the blade directly on the surface. You can't accomplish that with triple blades in today's razor world. It is absolutely useless and CAN NOT BE USED ON ANY Modern BLADE. Waste of money and time.
