It also gets caught every easily if you have a cap or a permanent retainer as I do. Also, they used to sell a formulation without fluoride which i prefer because some forms of formula actually stain teeth and the with-fluoride version doesnt disclose which form of fluoride it uses. I was excited to see this at Drugstore.com. I compared my old container's floss to the new one and they changed the floss not just the package. It is thinner, I would estimate 25-33% and seems waxy. It acts more like a waxed floss now. VERY DISAPPOINTED. Why do they do this? May be they save a penny on each package. Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend Was this review helpful? It has a thin, "yarn-like" texture that is very soft yet effective. It's not too slippery like some of the waxed flosses. It also has a pleasant and refreshing minty flavor. It has fluoride on it too which is an added bonus. Great for sensitive, bleeding gums. My gums have stopped bleeding ever since I've been using this regularly. Gone are the days when my floss would get stuck between tight teeth and feel like it was going to pull a tooth out with it before it finally popped free. This floss never gets stuck between teeth. The fabric texture really gets the gunk out. It never breaks. It even tastes good-- strong for a floss. I have tried them all, and this is the one floss I like.
