The first couple of times I used this it didn't give me good results. I have chin-length fine hair that's cut in a shaggy bob w/ bangs. After my last haircut, I gave it another try. I use 2 1/2 pumps (before I just used 1 pump) and work it into my roots at the crown of my head, making sure it's evenly distributed. Great results! It gives me volume and helps define my layers without the need for more products (pomade). I found that 3 pumps is too much.
