My hair had been thinning and I was using every thickening shampoo on the market, and tv informercial stuff. Nothing was working. So in an attempt to strengthen what hair I had left, I began using Redken's Extreme. My hair is not only stronger and more resilient, but it has begun to come in thicker and fuller! I am delighted with Redken Extreme to say the least! This is my 14th week using it.

I just left this review for the shampoo and felt I need to leave it for the conditioner as well.

I dropped quite a bit on the large bottles of the shampoo and conditioner. Unfortunately they just reformulated both. Extreme used to be one of the best shampoos on the market. The new version smells like a 6 year old kid who went nuts with cotton candy at the county fair. It's disgusting. It leaves build-up which is disappointing b/c I could use the old Extreme daily on my oily hair. After one washing my hair is itchy, smelly and intolerable. I'm incredibly disappointed, Redken is usually top notch.

Have used Climatress for years,, but it is no longer available. This is just as good, and in fact, since I need to use less for the same effect, it is a slight improvement.
