I am white and have straight hair that is going grey - the grey is kinky and gets frizzy when it's humid, so I like to use a smoother/shine creme, also makes it easier to comb as I wear hair long. A friend bought me this product and also Fructis Sleek and Shine Anti-Humidity Smoothing Milk (which happens to be available on this website for a mere [$], I am going to buy some now). I alternated products over one week and honestly, they work the same.That's it.

I tried this after being unable to find Redken's Satinwear #2 product (which I've used for years) in stores or on drugstore.com, and I am very pleased with it. It doesn't hold curl or volume quite as much as the Satinwear (as expected since it is one number lower), but after using it for several weeks, I think I will ultimately continue using the Outshine product because my hair stays smooth and frizz-free even after many hours. I live in a humid, tropical climate and it works great here. The only potential downside is that the product is a bit heavy, so by the next day my hair is too flat to wear down unless I wash it again.

I was not impressed with the product, besides being so expensive. The Garnier Fructis Style Sleek and Shine Smoothing milk works much better and much cheaper to buy.

I have very thick natural African American hair and I love this product. I use it to twist my hair to give it a nice textured, crinkly look and it works wonders. It has shea butter in it that helps to moisturize which I love. My hair looked absolutely fabulous! I use this product along with the moisture milk to keep my hair nice and supple. Very nice its a keeper!

My hair is very curly and is beginning to thin. This product is a bit to heavy. I tried using less and I just wasn't pleased with the results. There are other products which are cheaper and do a better job.

I love using this on my dry hair! It makes it very smooth and minimizes fly-aways. I did notice it does make your hair a little weighed down if you use it on wet hair though and looks a little greasy if you let it air dry.

I apply the outshine after towel drying my hair. I either blow dry or let my hair dry naturally. I use this product when i wear my hair straight or wavy. It's not too heavy,gives shine, and smells great.

The best. I can let my colored wavy hair dry naturally with almost no frizz!!! Definitely a must have.

This is one terrific product for anyone who has had those after-perm frizzies! One little dab before styling leaves my hair looking frizz-free and naturally shiny. I've used it for about three years now and wouldn't dream of switching to anything else!

It works ok. I was mixing it w/ MOP defing cream for my curls. Paul Mitchell serum mixed better w/ the MOP. I prefer John Frieda Frizz Ease Lotion for relaxed/ chemically treated hair BUT I think it has been discountinued.JF really keep my wavy hair straight.
