great product - only one that really controls frizz, kinda heavy so i don't use everyday, just going out or special occassions

Just a dab and your hair stays put without looking "wet" -- unless you use too much, which is not advised since the product is not cheap. It's not oil-based, so it washes off with water nicely.

I have color treated hair with a short spiky haircut. I have tried many products and have found that waterwax offers me control and shine on the spiky part of my hair. I also use it for managing split ends on my childrens hair. It only take a small amount of the product, but I will say if you use to much it will become heavy on your hair. This is a product where a small amount goes a very long way. I highly recommend this product to anyone who is looking for control, shine and gloss on thier hair. It also has a nice smell, not overpowering, it would be great for someone who is sensitive to strong smells in hair care products. Overall I rate this product a 10++.

I have used this product for about 10 years now, and I've never found anything like it. I have curly hair that I blow dry and straighten. After I'm all done styling, I take some of the WaterWax and rub it between my palms and lightly apply it all over (or it WILL look greasy) finishing with more at the ends for a controlled, more polished, less frizzy and damaged looking (I'm WAY bleached blonde) Because of the clear irridesence, it makes the color in my hair look better. I have used this with every hair color, and style, short or long,.....it's a beauty staple that I can't be without. I will keep buying this product for as long as they make it!

I didn't realize that this product has shiny glitter in it, and it looked very stupid showing up on my straight black hair, almost like visible glittery gray slime.

I have fine, highlighted hair that's 4 - 5 inches past my shoulders and I like this stuff a lot. It seems to improve the texture, gives me body, and controls flyaways without being greasy IF you use just a little bit. I put some on my fingertips and work it in from up from the roots of my hair - trying to do what my hairdresser does (I know, ridiculous)on either dry or almost dry hair. The "shimmer" is negligible. I like Redken Glass Soothing Serum No. 1 also, but I think that works better on damp hair, then blow dry. Also, I am 52, so this stuff isn't just for kids!
