He handed me a handful of different brand samples which I tried within the following week. Optive turned out to be my favorite of all four. The other brands (while effective) made my vision so blurry that I can only use them at bed time. Optive lubricant Drops are soothing and very lubricating. In fact, they clear my vision to crystal clarity. Dry eye conditions can cause sudden blurry vision when least expected. Optive is great and my only wish is that they make it available in individual applicators which is better for sensitive eyes and more sanitary. I'm also taking a nutritional supplement "Thera Tears Omega-3 Dry-Eye Relief Capsules. It contains fish oils, flaxseed oil, and vitamin E and is supposed to relieve the condition from the inside out. Comments about Refresh Optive, Lubricant Eye Drops, 2 Bottles, .5 fl oz: This was recommended by an eyecare specialist when i complained about dry eyes. I said i had tried similar products and didn't like how thick and gooey they seemed. I was told to put one or two drops in my contact BEFORE putting it in my eye - this works GREAT and lasts all day! Comments about Refresh Optive, Lubricant Eye Drops, 2 Bottles, .5 fl oz: This is a good replacement for my old favorite eyedrops, Refresh Dry Eye, which were discontinued. I think that Refresh owns the Optive brand as well. My eyes are extremely dry, and regular eyedrops don't help. These drops are very moisturizing and soothing. My eyes are also very sensitive and can't tolerate most eyedrops that have preservatives. However, I am able to use these drops with no problem. This is great because it's less wasteful than using the individual vile and saves a lot of money. I highly recommend these drops for people who have both sensitive eyes and extremely dry eyes. Comments about Refresh Optive, Lubricant Eye Drops, 2 Bottles, .5 fl oz: Optive was suggested by my ophthalmologist for my dry eyes. It's over the counter and readily available.
