I'm very allergic & these drops for sensitive eyes work much better for me than the same brand's regular drops do.

      Not Endura - unfortunately

Comments about Refresh Optive Lubricant Eye Drops Single Use Containers, 30 ea:

I was disappointed in this eyedrop because I'm a huge fan of Refresh Endura, which was discontinuted in the USA a few years ago but is still available in Canada. I was hoping that this was a relaunch of Refresh Endura (which had already been relaunched once before as Refresh Dry Eye Therapy) but unfortunately this is not the same thing. My guess is that this product contains considerably less castor oil than Endura (when held up to the light this drop is translucent while Endura is opaque). I have very severe dry eyes that were damaged by a life-threatening allergic reaction to antibiotics (Stevens Johnson Syndrome) and Endura relieves my dry eye pain and lets me lead an almost normal life - while this product stings when I put it in my eyes and seems to wear off quickly. It's possible that people with less severe dry eyes may find the product more useful, but I wish Refresh would just make Endura available in the USA again. (Restatis is not a substitute - I can't use Restasis 20 times a day!)

As a chronic dry eye sufferer with ocular rosacea, and meibomian gland dysfunction, who found the most relief using Refreah Endura drops, I was very upset when they were unavailable in the US for a few years. Now it seems they are back and re-named, but the ingredients are the same including castor oil which is their key ingredient. (Castor oil helps preserve the lipid layer in the eyes of those deficient, which in turn keeps all three layers of tears stable for a longer period of time.) These preservative free vials are perfect for someone like me who has to use drops every few hours daily since the preservatives in bottled drops can cause irritation if used that often. I'm so glad these are available again!
