I have tried every product on the market, as well as prescription Restasis. Nothing helped until I found Refresh PM. I use this product day AND night. Without it, I have pain, redness, and scratchiness. Immediately upon using Refresh PM, I feel relief. It lasts for hours. This is the ONLY product which has helped me. VS Most Liked Negative Review not for me I have used every over the counter medication for dry eyes. This ointment was really difficult to get into my eyes. This ointment was really difficult to get into my eyes. What I finally did was to go back to my opthamologist and ask for restatis, which is covered by my insurance. What a difference, even right from the beginning restatis cleared my vision up and no more dry eyes, for the most part. If my eyes are a little dry when I go to sleep, than genteal ointment works much better for me. Just one peson's opinion and I guess you have to try things on your own. Comments about Refresh Sensitive, Preservative-free PM Lubricant Eye Ointment, .12 oz: I have been diagnosed with chronic dry eye due to an autoimmune problem. At night I always use drops and sometimes ointment as well, depending on the extent of dryness & irritation. _ Yes, it blurs vision the next morning which is a sign it is an effective product that clings to the eye for protection. A simple application of eye drops in the morning clears visual field well. Other gels sometimes disappear by morning which is why I prefer this brand the best.
