I have been a dedicated user of Releev for over a year now. I don't know how I lived without it. I tried Abreva, which did help somewhat, but nothing like Releeve. I use it every hour or two as soon as I notice a sore coming on. If it is only a tiny bump and a tingle it will be gone within 24 hours. If it is already more than that, it will take 2-3 days. Again, I apply every 1-2 hours. What a find this product is!

Finally, something that actually works! My son gets huge fever blisters on his lips a few times a year and they used to take forever to heal and were so unsightly. I'd tried Abreva and even a prescription cream and nothing has worked as well as Releev. As soon as I see the tell-tale blister starting to appear, I apply Releev and it literally knocks the fever blister out in one day. I'm just so happy for him that he doesn't have to suffer for an entire week or more with a disfigured-looking lip that's also sore. I highly recommend Releev!

I am absolutely amazed by this product! I woke up a few days ago with a cold sore starting, just three little blisters. I've used Abreeva in the past with very little success, with cold sores taking about 10 days to heal. I decided to try Releev instead, and I'm thrilled. I used it every couple of hours, and the sore stayed very small, just those three little blisters, but they got flatter. By night time there wasn't much change, meaning it didn't grow. When I woke up in the morning it felt a little tight and I went to the mirror, fearing that it had grown and filled with fluid like they usually do at night. I was shocked to find just a tiny skin-colored scab! Now it's gone completely. Even though I didn't catch it at "the tingle" and the sore had already started to form, it was completely gone in about two and a half days. I'm sold! As for the price, yes it's expensive but there is almost three times as much in a bottle than there is in Abreeva, and this stuff actually WORKS!

I have generally used L-lysine and Zovirax, but when my script ran out for the Zovirax, I decided to try the Releev. I have now stopped using everything but the Releev. Even my 8 year old daughter wants Releev when she feels one coming on. We swear by this stuff! It can become discolored after you've had it for a few months, but it continues to work (the package insert explains this as well.) If I can catch my sore soon enough, before it begins to push to the surface, Releev actually stops it from EVER becoming a blister at all! And let me tell you, I usually get *big* *ugly* sores! I have not ever found anything so effective. The price tag is well worth it. The 6mL of Releev generally will last through 5-7 bouts of sores, depending on severity. I generally apply it 8-10 times per day, and only need it about 2 days for each outbreak. Before I apply it, I wipe the area clean with a wet paper towel and let it dry. I then apply a generous amount.

This is the best cold sore medication that I have found works for me. In ONE DAY it clears it up (2-3 days if not used at the first sign of tingling), which is much better than other medications that take 10-14 days to clear up and leave that unslightly red scar or crusting (like Abreva). I highly recommend!

Pitiful performance. I applied it at the first sign of a blister/bump and continued for 7-10 days until the sore went away. It does not dry clear. It dries a rust color. Definitely not impressed, and it's overpriced.

RELEEV is amazing! I found this product about a year ago at a local drug store. And I cannot explain how THANKFUL I am for finding it. I have had outbreaks for 20 years, and tried everything under the sun...and yes, for a time they would work, but your body builds up an immunity after a while, and as a result your body can reject some medicines. The way Releev works the best is, you have to catch the cold sore before it occurs. When you first feel that tingle and itch, if you apply Releev right away, and KEEP doing 3-4 times a day. Then I guarantee you will not have a cold sore show up the next morning and yes, it will be gone. Now, granted if you apply the product when you already have a cold sore it will take longer for it to heal, and it might not be a day but you will definitely notice a decrease in size and pain. I love this product over the last 8 months, I have had a total of maybe 2...that's excellent considering my stressful line of work. And I don't take Lysine! Thanks for Releev!

I hate fever blisters and suffer with them occasionally. For the past few days my lip has ached with pain; last night I purchased Releev (little pricey). With one application, it seemed to numb the pain from within! I used it again this morning and so far, I think this has been the best relief I've found for fever blisters!

Like others, I get cold sores and hate them. I use L-Lysine daily to help protect myself, but if I forget, I pay.
I just purchased Releev the other day, and yes it does cost a bit, but I now know it is well worth it. I used the product for two days, and the cold sore was gone. I could not be happier with a cold sore product, and I have tried most everything on the shelves. I would recommend this great product to anyone that has ever suffered from embarrassing cold sores.
