Shaving Bottom line, the resulting shave is close and does not irritate the skin. The side trimmer works very well.
Use This looks great, fits well in the hand and is light weight. It has a usage LED that lets you know how far you can go on a charge. I tend to use electric shavers when I am short on time or travelling. The shaver sits in the drawer for extended periods but really holds the charge for a long time.
Cleaning Simple flip up design, has a release button on the front edge. Very simple, no hassle and cleans right up.
No travel case of screen cap is the only down side.

My husband liked the shaver, comfortable to use and it worked great. I noticed other reviews complained that it took them longer with thick beards but it worked fine on my husbands faily thin facial hair.

I am a 58 years old man with very thick facial hair. I need to shave on a daily basis and I have always used razor blade to shave. This is first time I have ever used electrical shaver and while this product is easy to use and does reach all my face area, it does not feel like I got clean shave like when I use blade It took me about 15 minutes to shave , 5 minutes longer than normal shaving. It is comfortable to use and II might take it for when I travel but I will not use it for normal everyday use. It would be good for people with less facial hair. Also, my skin feels different when I use it

I purchased this shaver to replace my Panasonic ES8163, which had become dull. I read reviews of many shavers before making my purchase, and am very pleased with the Remington. I have used it for over two weeks now and the LCD time indicator shows about half left. So it should work for a month or more between charges. I find it very quiet, much more so than my Panasonic, which was very noisy. It shaves quickly and comfortably. I would say it compares very well with one of my favorite shavers, a Norelco 965RX, that I had several years ago. And I find this shaver easier to clean than any I have had before. Plus the hair collection compartment is large so you can use it several times before it needs emptied. The trimmer works well too. The only thing this shaver doesn't have that most do is the travel case. I have no complaints.
