On the first try, it was a much closer shave than any of the other brands I've used in the past. It's not a perfect clean shave, but it's smooth, easy to use, light and is about as close a shave as you can get without using a regular razor. I'd recommend it. Liked the fact that it was reasonbly priced. I have only used this shaver once since I received it but like how close it shaves the fuzz on my face and hair from my underarms. Looking forward to use it on other parts of my body, i.e., legs and chin area). It is a bit noisy but is still tolerable for the short time I used it. Comments about Remington Smooth & Silky Rechargeable Wet/Dry Shaver WDF-4820, 1 set: Back in the 80's I bought a couple of electric women razors and HATED them, they either didn't work or were painful to use(Epilady)and I never bought another one. Then about a week ago I came across the Remington Wet/Dry electric razor for women and since the price was so reasonable I thought I'd give it a shot (I figured by now women's electric razors had to be MUCH better then they were 30 years ago), and I'm glad I did! I have very course hair on my legs, underarms and bikini area, which also grows fast and causes me to shave at least every other day. One of the things I've hated about shaving in the shower is getting a chill and getting goosebumps which, for reasons still unknown to me, would cause stubbles on my clean shaven legs resulting in me having to re-shave. Now that I have the Remington Wet/Dry shaver I am able to dry shave. I have only used my shaver twice, both times I dry shaved my legs and I have to say, I'm very happy with the results. My legs are smooth, I don't have to deal with getting goosebumps because of a chill and having to re-shave, it doesn't take long to shave, it shaves every little stubble and best of all, my legs feel silky smooth. Now that it has proven to me that it's a great little razor I'm going to try it on my underarms and bikini area. I will say it is a bit loud, but it's tolerable since it only takes me about 15 minutes tops to shave my legs.

However, I needed for this convenience and on the go use and it serves it's purpose. |
