I bought this one since I work as a model, and often I do my own hair, and even if I do my hair before going to a shoot, I always bring this, if the photographer wants more curls or different stgule or simply the curls didn't keep the hold. So I bougt this for a Marilyyn Monroe shoot, and I had done lots of research first on how to roll my hair as Marilyn, however I have much longer hair than she ever did, but I figured I needed some traveling rollers, and I found these. OMG, they take no space at all, gets really hot, but you do not burn your fingers because the ends are not hot. And they also come with these u-shaped pins that are so easy sicne they are color coded and this model only have 2 sizes rollers. I would recommend this to anyone, and it is perfect for traveling or bringing to work. I would not however use this on a daily basis mostly because there are too few rolls and you would have to take out one from yoru hair and heat up again to use it all over.

I use these every day. They take up little space and travel well. If you need more curlers just buy two sets. You will have 20 curlers and they seem to last forever.

not enough rolls for longer than shoulder length hair;
must know how to use - not easy;
does the job though but must not be your first choice of the product unless your hair is dry by nature;

i used to use curling irons, so jose eber, babyliss curlers were all tried by me, but they were too much hassle to use on an every other day basis.. :( this remington hot rollers are the first i've tried, and i'm loving hot rollers so far! i am in singapore so this compact set works to ship to me, and probably also great to travel with. i have very long, medium-thin type of hair, and it works really well, and not too harsh on the hair as i'd think the curling irons are! always put heat protectant before using the hot rollers of course. try not to curl too much in 1 roller, else the wire may not hold as well, but this works great. i considered buying the clip-ons but i figured they will be heavy and weigh the hair down. :)

I was so surprised that this little compact of rollers heated up so fast and did such a great job. I am retiring my big set of rollers that take up so much space and using these now. Great great value

I have had many Remmington travel sets over the years and it was time for a new set. Oh how sad, boo on Remmington!!! The black curlers, the pins seem to hold the curlers in the hair, but the red one, OMG!!! I can put the pins on them on my countertop and watch the pins pop off and fly across the room, imagine that in your head!!! If Remmington got a clip or pin that worked, these would have gotten 5 stars! Bad engineering!!!

I've owned a similar set of Remington Hot Rollers for 15-20 years. The clips in this new version do not work. They pop out. The placement of the pockets inside (that hold the clips) is hard to use. The original had great clips, the little pockets on the outside and a place to hold the cord. New design wasn't worth the effort.

I should have paid attention to the bad reviews.Even though I only paid [$] for this product, it was a total waste of money. The clips dont hold the hair and as they slip, thy pull your hair and it hurts! Besides they are NOT returnable, BIG WASTE OF MONEY!

I have used hot rollers forever and my old Conair rollers still work, but are pretty beaten up, so it was time for new ones. After reading the reviews on these Remington rollers, I decided to purchase two sets because of the great price. The size takes up very little room on my vanity and will be great for traveling. I don't have any trouble with the clips holding in the rollers as some have stated. The rollers are the perfect size for me, but I do need two sets because I use 13 rollers. I let them heat up about 10 minutes and they do get pretty hot, which I like. I have hair past shoulder length and somewhat fine and thin. I do think my old rollers curl a little better than these, but I am still happy with them.
