This Remington product gets close, but not as close as I like, but it is good enough that I will keep it. Because of the design, you can't use the clipper without the attachments. I like the ergonomic design and my hair cuts are much quicker. I would recommend this clipper for anyone who wants a close cut. If you have hair over 1/2 inch long look out it won't cut it, it will clog the cutter up and you have to clean out hair every few strokes. I normally keep my hair about 1/4 inch but let it gro out to about a 1/2" and it just wouldn't cut it. I used my regular Whal Trimmer and cut some of the longer stuff then used this cutter and it worked real good, After I cut the Long Stuff First, This hair cutter will be good for maintaining short hair, about 3/8" or less. I would only Recommend to someone wanting to cut and maintain Short Hair. Comments about Remington Titanium Short Cut Clipper, SCC-100R, 1 set: I ignored the negative comments on here and that was a mistake. Everything negative thing you read on here is true. The battery some times does not last for a complete hair cut. It cuts very uneven. You cant cut next to your ears really at all.

Comments about Remington Titanium Short Cut Clipper, SCC-100R, 1 set: I keep my hair very short...this trimmer makes it very convenient for me to once or twice a week take care of it in just a few minutes. It does a nice even job of it...hasn't let me down yet and it saves me from spending $$$ to have someone else do it for me! It is a bit of a 'pain' cleaning it when finished but not terrible. The 'sideburn/mustache' trimmer isn't anything great but I didn't buy it for that anyway. All in all I like the trimmer and would buy it again.
