This blend of ingredients contains seaweed extracts that form a web like mesh across the hair fiber adding strength and repairing damage. Coconut oil lubricates the hair reducing friction and breakage during shampooing. Keratin protein helps repair damage and restore strength while shea oil conditions and smooths the cuticle layer. The result is beautiful, straight, silky-smooth hair.
How it Works: Most damage to hair occurs during shampooing when individual hair strands are rubbed against each other breaking and cracking the hair cuticle layer. Seaweed extracts form a web across the hair fiber adding strength to weak brittle hair. Coconut oil lubricates and smooths the hair fiber reducing friction and breakage during shampooing.

Before I discovered co-washing, this was my go-to shampoo. The shampoo itself is super thick and, oddly, can be hard to get all the way to your scalp if you've got thick hair. That being said, it is gentle and moisturizing - nearly moisturizing enough to use alone, depending on your hair. It has a non-descript lightly-sweet scent. I'm pretty sensitive to scent and this product was exactly right. Not floral, not overpowering, just kind of sweetly clean.
In short, a solid product combination with the conditioner.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
