Read about pH balancing during the menstrual cycle, and thought I'd give these a try. They're exactly like any other Playtex etc. plastic-coated tampon, but with the pH balancing ability. Great find. Will use nothing else from now on!

I constantly fought recurrances of BV and odor issues, especially after my period. Along with some other items (probiotics, folic acid, and rephresh gel) these have helped me stay BV free for months.

I have fairly light flow and have had no leakage problems -- and NO odor. This is way better than the scented types of tampons that leave me smelling like something unnatural. Love, love, love these but worried by the drastic price cut that they may be on the verge of discontinuing. So I bought a dozen boxes and will probably buy a dozen more soon. Just in case.

i don't just love this product i count on it. It balances ph levels during menstral cycles which helps prevent over growth of bactiria that causes bacterial infections.

I am prone to issues with my Ph during my periods so I was thrilled to hear about these great new tampons that keep your Ph in balance. The only bad thing is that I could only find them sold at one store & now it looks like they don't sell them there anymore either, luckily I found them online. I ordered them, the shipping was free & they were at my door the next day. I just hope & pray they are not being discontinued. I would hate to have to go back to regular tampons.

I love these tampons! I have always had a stinging sensation when I had my period and these make it go away! I am infection prone down there and I try to take every step I can to not have an infeciton! Other women like me know what I am talking about! I fell in love with these the first time I tried them. I use the regular version during my whole peirod. The only thing I wish they had was a lighter day version of these. It's hard to find these in other stores sometimes. They are worth going through the trouble of buying online. I love that they are uncented so I am not irritated, besides who likes to smell like a fake flower? I would recomend these to every women who has struggled with infections in their vagina. This is a good maitance for ph problems. Remember to use a mild detergent that is not scented and take a probiotic specificly meant for the vagina. I can't belive its on sale for [$] here! I am so excited to order these on on sale!

Seriously if you are a sufferer of BV then these DO work.. go use your reg tampons if you have a problem with these and stop complaining... people that suffer from BV and imbalances in pH need stuff like this... I'm sick of reading bad reviews because people don't know what they are talking about. Normal vaginal pH is 3.8 to 4.5, slightly acidic. Period blood pH is 7.4 so it will completly throw it off and you get BV or yeast. Use the internet before you start giving neg reviews. I bet you didn't go buy test strips to check your pH before your period, during and then after!!

I tried these for the pH factor, since I often have a slight yeast infection around my period, but they also happen to be the most comfortable tampons I've ever found. Also really like that they're unscented. I'm a huge fan.

This product is absolutely amazing!!! I've been suffering from BV (bacterial vaginosis) for over 10 years. And FINALLY a product that helps prevent BV during our monthly visitor. I haven't had an infection in over two months and this is extremely unusual. After every period, I would have to take my antibiotic to clear up my infection. Now, with using these tampons that help control the ph levels have made all the difference. I finally feel like I can live again!!! It's definitely very exciting, as silly as it may seem to others. So, THANK YOU for making such an amazing product that makes me feel somewhat normal again. Before I had surgery and got fixed almost two years ago, I would take my birth control pills back to back for months to prevent periods so I wouldn't have to deal with my infections each month. This has made life even better and I thank you SO much!!!

They do what they are supposed to do as far as coverage goes, but I didn't notice anything different with the PH balance. They seem like regular tampons to me. I've bought them a couple of times because they were on sale.

I am prone to yeast infections after my period, and because of that I prefer to wear a pad whenever I can. However, there are some days when you either want or need to wear an outfit with which a pad would simply ruin the line. Tampons can make an oncoming yeast infection worse, but, I am happy to report, not these tampons! They were a real pain to find at my local drugstores (only one in the whole zip code was carrying them!) so it's great that Drugstore dot com is offering them. And they were expensive compared to the brand I had been using. But worth it! When I started using them, it was the first time in recent memory that I didn't have a raging yeast infection right after my period. These are more absorbent than what I was accustomed to - a regular one of these can do the job that a Super in my old brand used to do. For light days that require tampons I'll have to stick with the old brand. But these are a winner in most other respects. They have definitely earned a place under my bathroom sink.
