I can't say enough good things about this. And my fiance's reaction? He could not be happier. Not only is he reveling in the feeling, he also loves the taste and smell. Replens has enhanced our sex life a thousand times over. NOTE to those with the "clumpy discharge" issue: I experienced this the first week of use, and found that using a tampon seemed to "pull" out those clumps of dead cells. They were a little disconcerting to see, but the tampon use seemed to help tremendously. I also used this daily for about 4 days, then cut back to every 3 days. Better than the majority of things we tried, but neither of us is terribly impressed. For me it dries out too quickly and gets gooey and sticky rather than lubricating which leads right back to pain, tearing, and bleeding, perhaps because my tissues have really thinned and the dryness is excessive. I don't know. I DO know that a fingertip dip in good old-fashioned olive oil works 100 times better for us than anything commercial we've tried, is much less expensive than most products, can be purchased just about anywhere in the world (we move around a lot with work), and is totally natural though admittedly doesn't have the greatest taste nor is it as sterile! I have a good friend to thank for that tip, though, because it has saved our sex life where Replens just made it moderately tolerable! The only real downside to the olive oil is it tends to stain bedding and nightwear if you use too much, but I'll happily put up with a few stains if it puts pleasure back into our lives and prevents pain! We still use Replens over other commercial products when travelling and staying at hotels or anywhere but our own home, though. Comments about Replens Long-Lasting Vaginal Moisturizer, 14 ea: I prefer this to the individual dosage packaging, as it is more economical...and...I am able to see exactly how much of the product I am using. The plastic applicator/rod wash up quickly with hot/soapy water. For traveling, I do use the disposable one-use packages, but only for convenience. Doctor wanted to put me on hormones but I like natural remedy's so I decided to try this. I absolutely love love love this product! I was having burning in my vaginal area and intercourse was unpleasant so when I used Replens for the first time it felt amazing! What a relief! I'm a budget buyer so I bought the tube. Maybe some of these reviewers on here don't know how to do it right but I don't experience any messes or spills. Can't say enough about Replens. Thank you Replens! Comments about Replens Long-Lasting Vaginal Moisturizer, 14 ea: Please note that this is not just a lubricant - it just softens up the inside. Actual lubrication makes it slippery. Replens makes it comfortable. It was as if, after an extended period of no sexual activity, intimacy was almost impossible. Using Replens for a few days seemed to moisturize and soften me up inside making it more pliable, which made me much more comfortable, even using traditional lubrication for the outer areas. But the good part is that it lasts for a couple of days. Good for women who cannot or don't want to use hormones for vaginal dryness. Comments about Replens Long-Lasting Vaginal Moisturizer, 14 ea: Replens not only replaces but seems to stimulate natural lubrication. It is undetectable (odorless, colorless, flavorless), lasts at least three days and often longer, and does not produce too much or too little moisture as some other products do. It can be applied any time, not necessarily just prior to intimacy. There is no solid to insert and wait while it melts to see how much fluid is produced. Instead, a small amount of gel is inserted without leakage or cleanup. I have not found any product that can make this array of claims. And of course, the whole point is that once friction is eliminated, pleasure stimulates one's natural lubrication process.
